How did you solve it?
How did you solve it?
I think I drew a little graph on paper. I miss video games where I had to write stuff down.
Correctly.
Dishonored 2 any good?
Just beat the first game recently
Story wise its about the same, probably worse, but gameplay wise it is a 100% upgrade
Thats enough for me then, better gameplay is all I need
story is shitter, gameplay is an improvement, locations look really fucking gorgeus, level design can be better or worse, personal taste really
google.com
Wrote everything down in notepad and figured it out.
drew a table and put all the properties on little scraps of paper because i'm dumb and can't solve anything in my head
then i proceeded with the rest of the level because i didn't want to miss out on the content
what says but if you haven't played the story DLC yet, do that first
fact: the correct way to beat this level is to leave both paolo and the vice overseer alone and then knock out stilton in the past because then they become part of the new duke's council.
They don't deserved to be saved, turn them all to bloodfly food.
Hey come on now! There's no need to get violent!
I disposed of both leaders in the crates and then got the solution handed to me. I didn’t even read the puzzle until I came back with the answer. Seemed pretty manageable but I know I would’ve just done all the optional stuff anyways even if I did work it out right at the start so no biggie
Story is way worse and the gameplay is largely the same. Lacks the focus of 1. I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely loved the first game.
You build a logic grid with the parameters (pic related) and use the hints to solve it.
Being unable to solve a puzzle like this without writing it down is perfectly normal.
Somewhat this. I was just told "You need help to get into the mansion" and didn't see the small doorway that lead to the puzzle. So I threw Byrne to Paolo and he gave me a paper that I thought was a permission slip to enter through a passage. Turned out it was a puzzle solution.
I came back to this game about a year after I dropped it and it was this very quest.
I took a piece of paper, made a few charts and figured out the puzzle.
It was so satisfying that I realized the rest of the game couldn't possibly be better than that so I uninstalled it. I am not kidding.
vice overseer seemed like a stand up guy, Paolo was a mobster. took him to the overseer and then knocked out Stilton
funny because the level after that is the best part of Dishonored 2
Yeah but if you knock out stilton in the past Paolo and Byrne have no reason to start fighting because stilton stays in control of the mines, meaning the dust district doesnt fall into a slum
Meh, I don't regret dropping it. I might play the expansion this summer though
>if you knock out stilton in the past
I beat the game yesterday. How do you do that? The only times I saw him were him being crazy in the present and him being a hologram in the past.
Superior in every conceivable way, and the story isn't worse, it's the same.
when you go into the courtyard to get the code for his bedroom, you can go back in time and he'll be in the gazebo, choke him out or use a sleep dart. you can also kill him as well but why would you do that
>you can go back in time and he'll be in the gazebo
He wasn't there for me. The code was, though.
What chaos level were you at?
Almost as low as possible.
That's weird, if you alerted any of the guards around him he may have gone into alert as well
None were alerted. It was a new loading zone and everything.
Might just be an extremely rare bug, good thing this game is perfect for multiple playthroughs
Now this is some autism. I just used the clues they gave you and flipped the other ones around for a few seconds until I got it.
The loading screens take forever on console, because the game still runs like shit on pc.
Good job retard
Not him, but if it works then it's not retarded.
In fact, he wasted less time than most.
literally just download it legally from your preferred software vendor
Game ran fine for me, only in very very rare situations did it dip below the 40s on pc, and i'm not even on that great of hardware
My hardware can apparently run everything except specifically Dishonored 2 and Sekiro.
Not doing the puzzle altogether is faster, and googling a solution is faster still (I know it's randomized, but there are tools to solve it automatically if you give the details). He's retarded because he calls other people autistic for properly engaging with the puzzle rather than butting head with it until it cracks.
But he didn't butt heads. He did the exact same thing the graph does, but without wasting time drawing the graph.
Yes i solved it whitout a piece of paper, how can you tell?
>because the game still runs like shit on pc.
what the fuck are you talking about? the i5 toaster i built in 2010 still ran it perfectly
This, but unironically.
I actually did solve this without writing shit down on my first play-through but I remember staring at it and re-reading the thing a ton of times and on my recent second play-through I couldn't be arsed to do it again so I just looked it up.
