Yea Forums has an issue, and it's much worse than off-tpoic shitposting.
Some games simply can't be discussed due to rampant, likely unironically autistic shitposters.
Off the top of my head, I can think of three series. Half-Life, Metroid, and Kid Icarus.
In the first, shitposting about how Half-Life ruined FPS will flood the thread, which even without people replying would be an issue, but people do reply, and it ends up derailing half the threads.
In the second, shitposting by one particular guy will lead to the same situation as in Half-Life threads, with people stupidly replying to his autism about how Samus should have been a robot and how Yea Forums, which notoriously hates Other M, actually loves it.
And in the third, one autist who hates Uprising will flood the thread accusing everyone of being fake fans.
The issue here isn't these autist's opinions. It's that they fill up 20% of the posts in threads about these games and people replying to them take up another 40% of the posts.
They need to be identified by the mods and banned on sight.
