>play story heavy game with friend
>he doesn't care about the story or dialogue and just skips past it and rushes through everything
Play story heavy game with friend
it is a nightmare
Tell him to slow down or you're not gonna play with him. You have no other options if you actually want to enjoy the game your way.
I have a guy who does the same shit whenever we play Borderlands 2. He takes off his headphones because of the le cringe dialogue and then keeps asking what's happening afterwards. Fucking bullshit.
Just play it solo and enjoy the comfy experience.
>play story heavy game with brother
>he doesn't care about the story or dialogue and just skips past it and rushes through everything
>wants to kill and steal from everyone
>looks up how to solve puzzles but pretends that he just realized how to do it
>gets bored and goes back to his shooting games leaving me hanging
>play first Original Sin with friend
>We make it about 3/4 through the game
>He completely drops the game
>Want to finish the game, but friend has save file and uninstalled the game
>Start new game solo and end up having more fun beating the game
I was pissed at first when he completely stopped playing, but I don't think I would have enjoyed the game as much if I didn't play solo
>Play with friend
>I think I'm gonna mug this guy!
>"No user, according to the guide you should only mug that character in chapter 3 after we do this mission, now come on we have to do this and this or else the guide says we won't get this weapon."
Get a better friend. I played OS2 with a friend and we had an excellent time.
>playing story-heavy games with friends
Why? Would you read a VN or a book with your friend?
>ever sharing your game experience unless is to fucking kill them
When do I get good at this game, it's been like 20 hours fuck
>tfw I'm literally that friend
this games story was boring as fuck though and my friend wanted to play on an easy difficulty so it was even more mind numbing
>play simple 3D platformer with autist from Yea Forums
>starts talking about weird lore and half A presses
Your friend is a jem, all my friends eat up that garbage dialogue.
Maybe your friend walked down the wrong path and got jumped by an encounter two levels above them, so now they feel afraid to play Classic. Some people complained about that kind of thing.
>Play this story heavy game with 2 friends
>1 friend controls the save, over reads every instance online amd how to just cheese through it and metas his way through the game making the point of the adventure null
>other friend has made us restart 3 times because he didnt like the race he picked and because he wanted to horde every peice of gear while leaving us very defenseless and got mad when we wouldnt give what we got to him so he started bumrushing everything to get loot first
>havent made it past the first or second zone
>weve restarted 4+ times at this point
The game is easy aa fuck, I never understood where the supposed difficulty comes from.
Jesus. There's not much you can do about the weenie that reads up every encounter and does nothing besides repeat build guides, but how hard is it for some dingus to look at a piece of armor and say "hm, this works really well for STR-based characters, I should give it to the warrior"?
I hate metafags with a passion. They fucking ruining everything. Why even play video games?
Sounds like one of those "friends" you wind up having almost nothing in common with later in life.
>tfw used to play everything with my bros
>eventually we all get into League of Legends
>tons of fun for like 2 years before the game becomes shittier and shittier
>everyone thinks it, but nobody says anything except for me and I quit the game
>try to play a couple of other games with them
>we'd start the game, play for a couple of hours and then never play again
>now they are casuals that only play Goodnite and PUBSleep
This sucks
That friend does it with every game. Hes a rusher. If he dosent get to the end before you theres no point for him. Also the the type that wil lread up so much on the game, he'll try to tell you about it when youve been playing years and he JUST started. As if hes teaching you something mew in his head I know hes a greed fag. If the srmour was +1 strength increase for him but a +10 str for me he will piss and moan that i would get the armour and rage because he wasnt getting gear when he left us so undergeared in the first place leaving us with so much to catch up to.
Whoops this was for you not the other user.
Glad im not alone. Sad that im still part of this group though. Wish i coulda had one friend with this game and similar enough autism to mesh and just fucking complete the game together.
The little time spent playing with friends was always unfun as well. They either skip all dialogue, kill and steal everything zoom zoom zoom ayylmaoduderezme.
Or hoard every thing and need to be the one that killed every single fucking enemy in each encounter who also needed to be the persuader, barterer, and thief at all times.
>when he goes ahead and starts crucial dialogue while you are exploring
Well, I don't know how close you are to the guy, or how much you like him otherwise, but someone like that, I just wouldn't play games with anymore after a while. That's too annoying. He would have to be a hilarious dude with a lot of personality for me to want to tolerate it.
>big brother wants to play CoD4 on my gaming pc
>doesnt want to play with mouse and keyboard
>configure xbox 360 controller with Xpadder
>quits game because shooting is difficult
I dont play vidya with them anymore really only if its games where shit like that cant happen.
>bruh i LOVE playing crpgs with friends!
>boomers play dnd together
>zoomers play crpgs together
>zoomers are somehow at fault for doing this
I've tried to play this game earnestly 3 separate times. It is absolutely a bad game. I don't get the praise
The physical/magical armor system completely wrecks the game for me.
Baldur's Gate had multiplayer too, it's nothing new for the genre.
Its a good entry point for zoomers because of its polish and graphics. But not a very good crpg. If you want a good story play Pillars of Eternity. For good combat get wasteland 2. Divinity os2 is perfectly acceptable in those areas but doesnt really stand out.
>Play story/dialogue heavy game with friend
>Friend constantly skips dialogue or alt-tabs. Attacks essential NPCs constantly cause lmao
>Quest fails, have to reload a lot
>Uh... So what are we doing/ What's happening
>Complains when I don't play with them
Thank fuck for Steam offline.
