Best 90s PC games
this was awful wtf are you on
How could you play this shit it looks so bad it's like 3d models for poor people.
How can you not like Dreamweb? Unless you just don't like point'n'click adventure games.
I don't really care about graphics as long as it runs smoothly and the shitty graphics arent distracting. The characters are just 2d models that rotate lol. The game is fast-paced as fuck, you just fly across the map, and If i play a shooter I want instant gratification.
Sell me on this. I tried playing it a long time ago but it just seemed so boring, like I was doing work. I always wanted to get into Fallout but it doesn't have the options that I'd imagined
Humus
My nigga, i love this one
Anyone here played Jurasic Wars? It was cash, but the mouse/screen things its a issue.
what game is this? This looks sick
quake you zoomer
>posting levels released in like 2016
Ah, I thought it this had a medieval theme. I tried quake once but couldn't get used to the movement controls
It's literally that same as any other shooter if you use a non retarded engine
>couldn't get used to movement controls
What do you mean? You can literally make the game use the very same WASD+M controls every single FPS game still uses.
In fact, it was Quak's multiplayer pros that came up with the control scheme in the first place.
If you didn't bother to change the controls I can't imagine you even bothered to get the soundtrack to work. Change both of those right now. Quake 1 is the shit once you fix those two things
Now there's a great game
I tried playing this the other day but it's so very slow. Emulation problems no doubt. I don't have any dosbox knowledge.
>I can't imagine you even bothered to get the soundtrack to work
Literally one of the stock feats of any modern source-port worth its salt. But I guess just using Google is 2hard4zuums.
The only one you need fuck all other games
fuck doom, duke nukem was always better
Quake is objectively shit. Bullet sponge enemies/ shit gunplay/ repetitive brown levels
Loved the Space Quest series growing up, beat all 6. I'm still sad that while most Sierra series got their last game during the '97-99 period, Space Quest 7 never made it.
the system shock games
I prefer 2 but both are amazing
cringe
"repetitive brown levels" I see that you played two levels without installing the soundtrack and then uninstalled it, fuck off.
This looks pretty sick. Is descent good?
I haven't really played games since high school and am just looking for something to play while I listen to Opie & Anthony and audiobooks. I was too dumb to realize that I could remap the controls when I played it before, I thought that the control scheme was what made quake quake for some reason. I was planning on having the game muted, is the soundtrack that good?
That's not Descent.
This:
is Descent. And yes, it's very good. If you're patient enough to get used to moving in all directions.
>is the soundtrack that good?
of course you nigger it's Nine Inch Nails from Trent's prime.
Instead of making fun of you, I'm going to encourage you to give Quake another shot, Quake 1 was largely slept on and is only recently getting a revival in interest, but it's a best in class shooter. Download Quakespasm so you can play it at a modern level and have a great time doing it.
based
I agree.
People pretty much only praise it because it was the Crysis of its era, and made online MP cool. Though even Doom already had deathmatch LAN parties, so meh ...
>is the soundtrack that good?
It's NIN.
And sound-design always either breaks or makes the game.
Use the music, nigga.
SOUL
Why can’t more people be like this? I think Diablo 1 looks way better than 3.
>Starts up multiplayer to play Use Map Settings games for the entire summer
Shoutout to Evolves, Helms Deep and Bound maps
OH FUCK. I just got into them in October and saw them live twice. I never bothered listening to that one. I thought it'd be a throw away because its a vidya soundtrack.
>move along the ground in basically just two directions
>move your gun left and right until you're within the general vicinity of your opponent
>fire
Wow, sounds like a thrilling time. No wonder it took a game like Quake to actually make it popular.
If it's good enough for Joe Rogan then it's good enough for me
