Kazooie looks alright but Banjo looks like shit in this game.

As a banjo fan growing up, I played this probably four years after it came out due to me getting a 360 late. It’s an alright game, but pretty much everyone is right saying it should have just been its own franchise instead of a huge departure from previous games.
But the soundtrack is really fucking good!

It didn't, it did help it to get grant to make music for it through. What happened is that the Nintendo asked the director of mario+rabbids for grant and he put them in contact.

It probably was its own franchise at some point, or at least "Banjo 3" and "Car Building Faggotry" were separate ideas. Jon "Niggers" Jafari makes an excellent point that the level design suggests there was more of a world at one point, but some queer jew producer came in and said "Cars! We have this cars idea! It's gonna be great! Shoehorn it in, goyim!" And that's how we wound up with whatever the fuck Nuts and Bolts is supposed to be.

No, its shit. Even if you look at at completely separately from BK, it still sucks. The worlds are mostly devoid of anything of value apart from some critters and decorations that don't do anything, the art style is ugly, the missions range from boring to frustrating, and it re-uses the same 3 or 4 enemies throughout the entire game. The only redeeming factors of the game are that I really like L.O.G's design and the hub world is actually an okay level with stuff to do.

I would have definitely enjoyed it more if it didn't run like absolute ass.

If that wasn't enough, it runs even WORSE on the Xbone compared to the 360.

According to one of the devs, they actually did start it off as "Banjo Threeie", but Microsoft execs didn't like it so they were forced to merge with another dev team who was working on a car building game, and the rest is awful history.

It still blows my mind that they did the fake-out in the beginning of the game with true intentions. I just can't imagine being that stupid and out of touch.

I found this to be pretty decent. Humor was on point. This didn't need to be a Banjo game and I think the vehicle customization would make a good game if expanded upon. Almost like Lego Racers or something.
