Jurassic World Evolution is pretty nice, if a bit shallow.
It's supposed to be receiving some good dlc on Tuesday, but the dlc is a tad expensive for stuff that really should have been in the game at launch. At least we're supposed to be getting 1993 aesthetics in winter.

At least the important shit like terrain tools and rocks will be free. The part that disappoints me is the last big DLC had 5 new dinosaurs and this only has 3. I guess they’re not really the focus but it wouldn’t kill them to add Megalosaurus or something.

Avian is a bad word to use, considering birds are a type of dinosaur. What you mean is "any pterosaur attractions" and the answer is no. We are unlikely to see flying or swimming attractions in this game, but we may get them in JWE2

No and to be honest I doubt the game will be able to support them with its current systems. I don’t see how they could do it unless major changes were added, an entire new type of incubator, a drone station to refill food or something. Maybe pterosaurs could work but for marine reptiles I just don’t see it happening until the sequel.

jwe has been fixed since launch to not have carnivores go on massive killing frenzies only to eat nothing. the only exceptions are the indo-hybrids because that's how they were in the movies. the actual combat is still really weak, but the dinosaurs behave much better.

i don't know man, in my experience with tycoon games guests and their often flimsy ai are one of the worst parts of the experience. i was recently making an aquarium in modded zoo tycoon 2 and every single guest was crowded around one fish tank all infuriated because they had no food, nowhere to sit, no bathrooms, but wouldn't move from that spot. i even closed the fucking zoo and nothing changed, i had to make the fish tank completely opaque so they'd leave. i don't miss that when i'm playing jwe, i greatly prefer the system they have where there's a radius of guest needs around certain attractions. i wish the guests were a bit more animated and less clunky looking, sure, but individual guests is just a pain in the ass. that being said i certainly wouldn't mind more depth in taking care of them, and especially in customization of the guest buildings.

Operation Genesis and Evolution are okay park simulators. Genesis is buggy and Evolution is pretty simple but they're there.
Trespasser is interesting and I thought exploring the environments was cool even if the game isn't particularly great.
I liked the platformer on the Genesis I think it was. The one where you play as a raptor.

The whole point of a jurassik park game is the horror or having dinosaurs runing around and beinf afraid for your life.
They already had a nice engine they only needed to have killeable rangers and maybe other types of park personnel that dinosaurs can kill.
