>Banjo-Threeie by modern Rare
Please, no.

yes

Nu-rare isn't interested in banjo

>implying Rare would have anything to do with it
Yet another daily reminder that KI and Battletoads are NOT being developed by Rare.

You'll probably have to get a remake first.

>Banjo-Threeie by Retro Studios
Please, yes

Reminder that /ourguy/ hates Banjo and you should too
youtube.com/watch?v=bVmTuCxsBTI

It seems doubtful since Greg doesn't want to do another collectathon with the characters and only wants to revisit them if he can think of something new.

I mean Microsoft could always just ignore him and have someone else make a game though.

Xbox's fanbase does NOT buy platformers. So no. And another obstacle? Modern Rare is shit and Leftists so you don't want to give those has beens any work, especially working to ruin Banjo further.

I'd sooner trust Vicarious Visions who revived Crash Bandicoot.

The problem is even if Microsoft finds a developer willing to make new Banjo games the central problem is Xbox Customers do NOT buy platformer games. They also hate cartoony games and Banjo is both a platformer and cartoony. Making another Banjo for Xbox's console is suicide.

Stevey Stevey, cope and seethey.

Why should I base my opinion on what some random nigger on Youtube thinks?

Do not give this prolapsed anus your view, he just does stupid shit and acts stupid to get people to watch him

How the hell would they even do it. Banjo Tooie kinda pushed the limit of how big the worlds/moveset could be. I kinda get where Gregg was coming from where he felt the worlds were getting too big to be fun to travel in, which is how he got the car idea in the first place

they could go for a blend of Tooie and Kazooie with an open hub but the levels are condensed in size

One idea is maximize Banjo and Kazooie's 'separate' ability so that the two of them are independently playable from the beginning with further unique moves for each.

So put it on Switch and PC as well

and nubattletoads looks like shit whats your point

That Rare does not have to develop the games using the IPs they own, retard

Maybe someday, but not any time soon. At most we’ll get a remake of the first two games at some point in the next year or two.

That would be for the best, the issue is would Microsoft agree to such a condition? Putting a property they own on a competitor's platform.

No, probably not. Remasters are more likely, but Threeie will never happen. It shouldn't, it's been too long and all the old team members are split up all over the place. Some are still at Nintendo, some are at Rare, and some are Playtonic.

bruh

As long as they put it on gamepass it will do decently. Which isn't even mentioning the fact that their will assuredly be tons of PC players interested in a new Banjo game. Just look at the moderate, yet undoubted success of A Hat in Time.

I don't think they'll cater to people who exclusively choose to play on gamecube-level hardware like the Switch though, especially for a fully fledged AAA title like Banjo Threeie would be. Maybe if Nintendo agrees to port some of their titles to Windows 10 and Xbox, I don't know.

>Modern Rare is shit
>The people who left Rare and made they're own company is shit
Sell it to Retro.

>Retro is in Texas
>Devolver is in Texas
>ID Software is in Texas
What is with Texas and why are all the GOAT game companies located there?

No. The old team isn’t there anymore.

>Banjo 3
>Not Banjo 1 and 2 remastered and combined into one game like they were always meant to be.

Attached: latest[1].png (220x250, 77K)

That would be fucking amazing. But I think you'd need the old team back. Rare these days has absolutely no talent.

>But I think you'd need the old team back.
Have you played Yooka-Laylee?
You don't want that either.

Sooner or later, a game called Banjo-Threeie will be made, just like a sequel to every other popular cult classic is inevitable. The question is who will make it, and whether it will be any good.

Depends, Yooka-Laylee tried way too hard to be honest.

You're exaggerating Stop 'n Swop pretty heavily there.

Texas is more laid back in comparison to Silicon Valley.

Honestly this. In a world of reboots, remakes and soft reboots it's hard to say if any IP is truly dead.

Remember when everyone thought Megaman was dead?
Or fucking Bubsy?

Something about this pic gives me barneyfag vibes. Maybe its because it looks cropped. I hopped in here thinking I would find him spamming again.

>watching a Banjo-Kazooie TSA speedrun
>mfw the absolute horseshit you can pull in this game
I can't even imagine how fucking stupid a Tooie run could be with all the new mechanics/moves that game added

Insider knowledge here,
343 are developing the new Banjo game, Kazooie's lost her mind and Banjo's out on a mission in a dangerous, isolated new world to find and save her. Only along the way he encounters Grunty, awoken from a 10000 year slumber with seemingly impossible powers and a plan to wreak havoc on the Banjo universe by absorbing the power of all the Jinjo's. You find Kazooie but she's losing her mind due to something called, "Retconcy", either way, you'll generally ignore that for the larger portion of the game until you eventually wind up fighting Grunty, who's orange and bald now, on a giant floating bridge-platform after a long and tedious flight section. To defeat Grunty you must do the perilous and awesome feat of pressing the B button several times while Kazooie splits into seven different versions of herself and cries, killing herself in the process by disappearing with Didact-Grunty into Jiggy-space. She then eventually becomes a god in the next game somehow.

>black dsp
dropped

No the opposite, they need new blood, they should it give it to Retro, who really is the spiritual successor to Rare.

Mega Man got a revival thanks to his appearance in Smash. Banjo getting into Smash is HUGE for him as a character and bodes very well for their future even if that amazon listing is fake.

>every cropped drawing of Banjo is Barneyfag

Attached: 859.png (437x312, 148K)

Short answer: no
Long answer: being put in smash means absolutely nothing

I just want to believe

No. Banjo is shit and only loved by sois.

Link? The only 100% TAS I can find is slower than Stivitybobo's 100% time.

yep, gotta laid back a bit or else the heat gonna kill you first

Hopefully with a title that doesn't suck.

The only realistic way Banjo-Threeie will exist is to just wait for somebody to reskin Yooka-Laylee.

Maybe? but you are making a wish on a monkey paw Microsoft do not give a damn about rae look att battletoas, they also do not have the perssonel or the fanbase that loves platformers. lets be real here banjo was a golden goose that microsoft butchered out of spite and greed

>you either die a zoomer, or live long enough to see yourself become a soiboi

Attached: 1531969341700.jpg (638x480, 32K)

You're only loved by sois.

From a Banjobro to another, I wouldn't recommend on holding your breath for a Banjo Threeie. Well atleast not a Banjo Threeie being done by Nu-Rare. They're just too preoccupied with their Pirate game and most of the original staff left to do other things or moved to seperate game studios. There is a 50/50 chance Rare got a new 3rd party studio working on a new Banjo Kazooie game as we speak, but I very much doubt that. I could be wrong though.

The best one could realistically expect is a potential Banjo Kazooie 20th Anniversary Collection where its basically what the Master Cheif Collection is, but with only Banjo Kazooie games. And it gets a Switch port.

Attached: PSFix_20190615_141250.jpg (684x1118, 190K)

No. Maybe let Playtonic collaborate with another trusted developer at Nintendo like Retro Studios or Next Level Games.

Exactly the comment I would expect from a fragile little soiboy.

The housing prices are low. All the benefits of being on oil-rich land is that tech industries are guaranteed a stable economy on endless land that is dirt cheap

Attached: download_7.jpg (225x225, 12K)

They'll have to give it to a different developer, Rare is shit nowadays

So they can scrounge for indie scraps? Rare makes AAA games, they don't have time or money to throw away at crap only a small number of people really want to play (read: pay $60 for). Banjo-Tooie wasn't even good, christ you people have shitty selective memory.

amazon.de/Nintendo-Banjo-Kazooie-Arbeitstitel/dp/B07SZX1165
Amazon Germany is already listing a BK game for Switch.

An amazon site listed Persona 5 for Switch after the joker reveal. Just dumb foreign Bezos

>people who left Rare and made they're own company is shit
>Sell it to Retro.
I thought that studio was Retro, was there another one?

Even if we don't, they at least got a good send-off game. Same as Snake and the Belmonts.

So you're gonna act like Cuphead and the upcoming New Super Lucky's Tale game for Switch don't exist to you?

Retro has nothing to do with Rare outside of making DKC games and having David Wise do music for them.

They literally just did

Attached: Banjo Kazooie Ultimate Render.png (894x894, 679K)

Persona 5 Scramble is coming out for Switch.
Nutz n Boltz 2 confirmed?

Are you sure that's not for the imminent amiibo figurine?

neither are microsoft Ip's or microsoft studios though

>The best one could realistically expect is a potential Banjo Kazooie 20th Anniversary Collection where its basically what the Master Cheif Collection is, but with only Banjo Kazooie games
That already exists, it's called Rare Replay. They'd have a hell of a hard time getting Nuts & Bolts to run on the Switch. maybe they could replace it with Grunty's Revenge

Fuck soitonic, keep them far the fuck away from old Rare I.P.s

They'd have a hard time with a full port of Rare replay considering it uses the proprietary emulation

It's the sole reason it's not on pc as well

It would be nice to have Rare Replay on both Switch and PC (which, strangely enough, they never ported it to).

I would rather let them create their own IPs, thank you. Until their games become a bit more successful, and the studio matures a bit in their success, they should continue doing their thing.

That being said, if Microsoft should lend the the IP to someone, it should be wither Playful Studios, or Gears For Breakfast.
