Yeah, I wish Catalyst had been closer to the original.
I was hopeful for open world, becuase I loved trying to find alternate routes through the first game, but half the time in MEC I just ended up taking the same routes everywhere and finding fewer new routes than I did in 1.

For a more obscure one Metal Arms Glitch in the System. An old Gamecube era 3rd person shooter where you play a cool robot named Glitch. It didn't fit too well into the Halo formula so it got immediately forgotten. Great game if you can find a copy.

Ori is pretty anemic if you strictly judge it as a metroidvania, especially if you want to directly compare it to Hollow Knight. It's more oriented around platforming. The flow of movement in that game is fucking incredible once you get good and I figured you wouldn't hate it if you like Mirror's Edge.

I don't like MBTI either, but I don't understand why people like you say this. Astrological signs just predict your personality based on when you were born, and since there's almost no reason why your personality would be predictable by your birthdate, there's about a 1/12 chance that your astrological sign will be the one that best describes you (it's probably a little higher than that, though, because personality is somewhat heritable and it would make sense that the personalities of your parents may partially determine when they're most likely to reproduce, but all in all it'd be a small difference). Meanwhile, a personality test like MBTI asks you, "Are you this?" and if you say yes, it tells you, "Okay, then you're this." It's not exactly making some grand statement, it's just spitting your answers back out at you. That's going to be more accurate than your birthdate. So, you comparing it to horoscopes is really stupid. There are better ways of measuring personality than MBTI, but it still measures personality to some extent because you're the one answering the questions and it doesn't shove you into a box that's any more complex than the questions you answered.
