I've been listening to this trailer nearly constantly since it has been released. I use it as a lullaby to help me sleep. I play it in the background when working. I use it instead of games' OST. I doubt you could even imagine it. It gives my life its fullest brilliance. Oh, Elden Ring!

Yeah the trailer put me to sleep too
Miyazaki?
More like Hackyazki.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH Elden ELDEN RING
O MY ELDEN RING
LOOK UP AT THE SKY
Game's been in development apparently since 2017 which means Miyazaki was working on it alongside Sekiro. When did this happen in the past? That's right, when ds2 was made alongside Bloodborne. Bloodborne ended up well and ds2 became the sucky one. This means Elden Ring will be the dark souls 2 of the elden ring franchise.
But Sekiro is already the mediocre game.
Elden Ring GOTY confirmed.
Gameplay on gamescom?!
Hopefully.
Dark Souls 2 can't even be considered a Miyazaki project
>Witcher clone
Hard pass for me.
If Elden Ring is as shit Dark Souls 2 Ill laugh.
Same OP I keep trying to imagine the Elden Ring and it gets me rock hard I always start jerking off and right when I cum I say "O Elden Ring!" fucking sexy ass ring
IT BUUUUUUURNS
I'll probably really enjoy it then.
oh OHHHHHHHHHHH OHOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ELLLLLLLDEN
RIIIIIIIIIIIING
Nghhhhhhhhhh
But witcher is the one that copied others and brought nothing new.
I doubt you could even imagine it
The narrator sounds like he's taking a shit OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH ELDEN RING
He was yearning for something he lost, though. Maybe you just have trouble discerning emotions from voice.
OOOoooOooOOooOoooooOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhHhhhHhhhHHHHHHhhh
Based
Going to take a break from OOOOOOoooOOOooOhhh posting just to say I don't think it'll be that good, at least compared to the kino of Demons Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. Having multiple directors will create disagreements which dilute the artistic vision of the game, doubly so since there will be a language and cultural barrier between the Japanese Miyazaki and the Burgerstand George.
ITS LIMP BIZKIT
>This means Elden Ring will be the dark souls 2 of the elden ring franchise.
The best one?
After all these years, I'll never get used to Yea Forums deciding a whether a game is bad based on a 2 minute teaser announcement.
It's just odd. No other community is like this.
Witcher proved that open world games based on famous writers' work sells gorillons so From Software wants to try their luck.
For example The Witcher 3 alone outsold the entire Soulsborne pentalogy.
itt autists that couldn't beat sekiro and can't understand longing and regret
Back when the leaks about FromSoft's new game started I concluded that it would be shit based on two aspects:
- Being open world
- Having Game of Thrones man as lead designer and writer
The trailer just confirmed my fears. Shame, but that's how things are.
>Having Game of Thrones man as lead designer and writer
That's an overstatement if I've ever heard one
Well, not exactly game designer but world designer. It will be a world good for a book or visual novel but shitty for a videogame.
pretty awful sign that they're advertising GRRM's involvement.
no that would make sekiro the dark souls 2 you fucking retard
It doesn't have multiple directors, Miyazaki literally just directed two games at once.
???
OOOOOOOOOOOOH
that's just jumping to conclusions though. We know almost nothing about the game itself, for all we know it could be first person or turn based or some crazy shit like that (not that it will)
Explain why it's good for a book, but not a game. Back up your statements with facts, faggot.
Why wouldn't they advertise the involvement of one of the most popular authors of our time?
Barely anyone in the west knows who miyazaki is, everybody knows who GRRM is, it's simple marketing.
>Explain why it's good for a book, but not a game.
Because it's narrative. Videogames don't need such a thing besides some excuse for the action. So, by being forced to follow a narrative, gameplay is discarded and you end following quest markers and walking 15 minutes from one NPC to the next.
>Back up your statements with facts, faggot
The Witcher.
>Why wouldn't they advertise the involvement of one of the most popular authors of our time?
Someone like FromSoft doesn't need to hire an expensive, famous western author. Unless their new game was something cinematic-focused, something that won't be carried by its gameplay and instead will be played for its writing.
That's why GRRM's involvement is a bad thing: it means that we're getting a boring WRPG not unlike something made by modern Bethesda or Bioware.
To be fair the majority of Soulsborne fans never played the series for its gameplay (in fact they always criticized it for being dogshit, especially when compared to other action series like Devil May Cry and Ninja Gained) and only played those five games to experience the lore and atmosphere. So something focused on the writing part of things, like Elden Ring, is pretty much a step up for them.
