Yes

Yes, boosting early gives you no reserves but your turning radius is tightened. Boosting late gives you reserves and a shitload more speed.

Alternate them with more advanced characters.

If you don't have the money to spend on a pro controller (which has a slew of issues but to each his own), you could just buy an adapter for whatever good controller you already have.
I use my PS4 controller on my Switch and there's no noticeable lag/delay, along with rumble and motion controls working perfectlyfine.

Most of the characters are owned by Rare and thus Microsoft, yet the game itself and titular character are owned by Nintendo. It's not so easy as a simple goodwill gesture of Banjo in Smash either.

Nintendo and MS have encountered similar problems when Rare began a remaster of Goldeneye sometime around 2007. I believe it was Reggie who publically announced that Nintendo was actively attempting to secure it for Wii's online and eventually the litigation and potential license holder issues, especially considering the Bond videogame publishing rights at that time were in Acitivisions hands, caused development to stop entirely. Perfect Dark was eventually remade though, which was/is great. But unlike DDR, or Goldeneye, that had no overt/any Nintendo references in and Microsoft owned the franchise rights.

I suspect similar such issues would arise were Nintendo to attempt to develop a remaster.

It's got everything a good kart racer needs but with slightly better physics and skill based drifting mechanics. Think Mario kart with better jumping and being able to reach and maintain 200cc with skill.

The only problem with this is that Clutch's Motorworld has both a prehistoric and egyptian themed sections which are already covered by the tracks of the first two Grand Prix. Although maybe the pirate, fantasy and space sections could save it.

This. I’ve played MK8 for a while, but I hate how much more luck based they have made the majority of races. It got even worse on the Switch version when they added second item holds back. The mechanics are also so dulled at this point that it’s difficult to break ahead and maintain a lead. Funky Bike Wii with its wheelies and inward drifting was way more fun and skillful. CTR will be a great counterpoint to nintendo’s hand holding philosophy.

Does anyone know if there's any difference in rewards playing Adventure mode in Classic (fixed Character, Kart, etc) and Nitro-Fueled (can change character, kart, customize, etc) ???

I like the idea of Bonus rounds being more puzzle focussed. One of the few things I have to say VV did right with Stormy Ascent and Future Tense. If they keep those up I'd be pretty happy. As for actual levels, I want them to stay linear and if they're doing more open levels to keep those to a minimum and treat them like a gimmick than the base stage layout. I don't think Crash works as well when he's in a super open area personally.
I'd like to see some more stage themes that haven't really been done or done that well, one of the things Wrath did that I liked was the chase levels not following a single theme and having a large variety of locations. Otherwise I don't really want the formula to change much. Keep death routes, bring back Crash 2 style color gems and secret paths(those were fun) I guess maybe include some new moves for Crash that extend on his other moves but really just keep Crash controlling tight, either fix the physics or account for the new hitbox and physics in the new levels.
