Not at all, Hope players in Homestuck just happened to roll with bad classes, which is why they fucking sucked.
Doom is good with the right classes. Prince of Doom for example destroys everything, including it's own aspect.
Prince of Hope is a pretty bad roll. God knows what Prince of Time could do.
You say that but I think Prince of Hope would've been more useful had it been given to -anybody- besides Eridan
Prince in Homestuck means "destroy". His whole class meant to destroy Hope. He excelled in his class rather well.
Prince is only good with certain classes. Dirk fucking sucked too because he was the Prince of Heart which destroyed people's souls. That and very shitty writing.
