HYPE
got a source there pal?
What language are you trying to use, paco?
Based Nintendo does it again.
>source: my massive, gaping anus
sure
I want both dungeons and shrines.
Dropped
>no shrines
so there's nothing to do in the overworld
If anything dropping shrines isn't the way to go, just have 10-15 shrines that are themed after a certain biome/theme/location and a huge dungeon in that same area to tie them all together and test your skills. That would be great
Maybe this means they might actually add something interesting to the overworld for once.
They should go Portal 2 with the shrines where they're all fucked up and link together
shrines>dungeons
How long until the inevitable "shrines were actually based and that was a good thing" revisionist posts?
Already happened But I can see the appeal, shrines are easier to digest in short bursts as opposed to dungeons, where you basically have to sit through the entire thing from start to finish in many games
neat
>Spends 30 minutes trying to get thru the elephant puzzle
>Give up and look on internet
>Turns out you can change the beasts properties on your sheika plate
I might be retarded but I always hated getting stuck on stupid obvious shit in zelda games, Botw has very little of that, it's just fun.
>dude trust me
Me too, it took me ages to get through the first couple on my first run of the game, but on my second they were all a cakewalk
>Getting Rid of shrines
Just replace them with less common mini dungeons with more varied aesthetics and better rewards
Something like this, but I would shoot for around 50 instead of BotW's 130. Still plenty, but more rare considering the size of the map.
Should i play this game i got it about half a year ago with a switch but never played it somehow, is it easy i'm not good at video games
Most people agree that the multiple-solution design of shrine puzzles were a good thing in that they allowed the player to be creative
Same but I think I recall vaguely the game tells you, you can do that, so I can't really blame the game.
>I might be retarded
You are retarded, since the game explicitly fucking tells you to do this. You also appear to be a little bitch afraid of any sort of challenge or having to think.
>dungeons are 10 times as good
Sounds great.
Somewhere between 50-60 would be perfect yeah. Maybe have Heart Containers increase your health as opposed to Spirit Orbs and just have those upgrade stamina
I had to look up how to stop the spinning wheel in the elephant online. I never noticed the spout was glowing when I tried to freeze the water no matter how many times I used cryonis. It's the only thing I looked up in the game and to this day I still feel great shame over it.
nah the choice between a heart or extra stamina is more interesting
>did the hardest boss and dungeon first
brother
It wasn't really that hard compared to the others.
But I did first cause it was the closest to Kakariko.
Then there wouldn't be enough to fill up both yet again, and my autism won't allow that. Those two extra stamina wheels/hearts that will never be filled even after DLC will always minority bother me
The hero in the BotW mural looks like ganondorf. The undead long haired guy in the teaser is actually the hero from the past
>Vah Ruta
>hardest boss and dungeon
Didn't the game basically promote you to do that one first since Zora's Domain is pretty close to Kakariko?
But thunderblight was much harder than waterblight. Mostly due to magnesia controls being shit
every divine beast i got through without a guide except for the one in the gerudo desert. holy fuck, i didnt get a single one of those 5 keys without a guide. it was so fucking hard, but the boss was the easiest of the 4
Right but I think Naboris was supposed to be a camel, that user mentioned an elephant puzzle which would be Ruta
Its harder then you'd expect at first but gets too easy towards the end.
Do you even pay attention to what characters say or what the game shows you?
Based OCD bro.
Now what if hearts and stamina were intertwined, so more hearts more stamina and lost hearts diminished stamina, as if closer to exhaustion.
The game basically wants you to go Zora > Goron > Rito > Gerudo
That would be much, much more interesting, I would be down for that
?????
>we will never be rid of this gay ass Link
That's the exact order I did on my second run, but I also got the Master Sword first because I wanted them to all be a joke
do you not recognize English you illiterate sow?
Lol
I did it Zora > Rito > Gerudo > Goron
I think the game probably wants you to do the Zora dungeon first but after that it's a lot less determined
>HYPE
shill
slit your throat
Since the trailer showed that not mucht time passed since Ganon, they basically have to bring in some time travel or otherwordly shenanigans for the sequel not to be stale. I doubt most of the characters will be back.
I hope there's an option to have Link get gangraped that would be so fun haha
I want a Hyrule Castle in every subregion and 30 difficult to find shrines with roughly the content of 4 BotW shrines a piece.
Huh?
?
I didn't have so much problem with that boss compared to the one in the camel
did you not notice autotranslate or ...?
thats what it seems like
I've always wanted a huger underground dungeon that goes across the worldmap, that connects to other dungeons and areas of the world. Important secret items would be found here as well.
spotted the illegal immigrant
do you have any proof to back that up?
Yeah but I didn't notice the purple dots you could press
As the other user said, early on I died pretty constantly, but once you understand how the combat works and how to dodge and counter it becomes really easy.
>user confirms botw is just zelda for literal retards
>zelda was already adventure RPGs for retards
Why does everyone like BOTW? is it because it's zelda/nintendo? It's just another shitty open world game that replaced content with absent minded sandbox toys, which get boring almost immediately. Also why does the combat feel like a big step down?
The shrines were also shit. This game was the skyrim of the zelda series.
>doesn't actually improve on the previous installment people didn't like much
>just dress it up in a bunch of gimmicks
>it's hailed as the GOTYOAY
tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.
Megaman Legends 1 did this and it fucking ruled. Obviously the scale was very small but it was still extremely cool to go in one end and come out on the other side of the map.
Imagine being a double nigger
...
>This game was the skyrim of the zelda series
You say it like it's a bad thing
>Also why does the combat feel like a big step down
It doesn't
You could say that about any Zelda game...
homogenization of game design for mass appeal is not a good thing
That would be amazing. BOTW was nice but it definitely feels like they didn't go as far in advancing the formula as they should have. Personally my ideal non linear Zelda would be to just do ALBW but in 3D and with only one world rather than two. Full on freedom, tons of side quests, and still having a fast travel method.
overworld in zelda is never the main content. It's something you pass through to get to the content with side content sprinkled around for you to find if you explore. the overworld in botw is the content and all the usual shit that would normally be side content accounts for 99% of the game.
It is if I like it
>when you get that 900th korok seed
