I think this is the main point. You could argue that when it comes to fictional characters it doesn't matter to much because fiction is better than reality, but 2B hits the nice spot where she's realistic enough (human-like appearance and fashion) and unrealistic at the same time (an android with human intelligence and emotions) so you get that best of both worlds package. Also her gothic lolita dress is nice. OP's cosplay completely misses that.
