I like 'em both equal, the old one is more a noisy-ass gas guzzler motherfucker whereas the new one is a bit sleeker and notably takes some inspiration from the Fenrir. I like that the exhausts and the front wheel guar are larger, you'd normally expect elements like that to be reduced in more modern redesigns.

People might knock on Stormblood, but that was an excellent finish to the 5.0 MSQ, with all your companions giving you kudos after beating Zenos. So I think Square has got story down on lock, so I have no worries for the Remake.

I can't wait till we get to see the parachuting into Midgar and having the crew of the Highwind salute you before you jump off board with your friends in the Remake. Or Cloud returning to the Highwind from the Lifestream and apologizing to everyone before they head to the Northern Crater.

I'd buy the redesigned one to be honest. The old one have retarded handle, would be a pain to actually handle/steer, not to mention that mudguard is useless, mud would just splash to my face.

Nah, there is plenty wrong with the original, including disjointed dialogue, overly subtle storytelling, and many mistakes made in the translation. Besides, as a creator, nobody wants to work for years on end to just make the same thing, that kills motivation. For that matter, even as a dude who has loved and played FF for almost 30 years now, I can safely say they have learned well in what worked and what doesn't in battle system evolution.

The new one is angled down like a chopper or an easy rider. The old is just straight down. Can't imagine handling a bike that way, with your arm locked in a 90 degrees angle like a toy robot. Or am I looking at it wrong, because to me, that's how I think the old bike's handle looks like.

It's a reasonable improvement, really. The bumper now looks like it might actually endure hitting something, there's a splash guard to keep shit from the rider's face, and covers to shield the engine, it makes sense.
