My favorite Zelda title desu
It was dun the first time I played it, but when I tried to play it again I coulddn't stand all the dialogue that I had to scroll through to get to the game.
It was okay
Fuck the Manta ray boss
Fuck Kingstones
my favorite behind Link's Awakening
I used to call them kingstones before I read the word closer. Took me so long to get used to it.
unironically my favorite 2D zelda
before botw okami was also my favorite 3D zelda
Capcom is really good at this style of game.
Capcom didn't make Minish Cap you stupid idiot.

Short, a little too easy, better than the ds games and beautiful sprites. I liked it a lot.
Mine too. I even liked the kinstones, I just wish they unlocked useful things.

Yes please.
That's some weird Morse code, user.
One of the best. I still carry it with my gbasp 101 so I can play it whenever I'm bored.
the last great 2d zelda
Some of them do...but only some.
I wish they would make another 2D Zelda with that style.
Overall it was great.
aside from kinstones, i liked it.
I want a Sequel to Spirit Tracks personally where you play as Prince Link
Pretty damn good.
It's the most linear zelda, but that doesn't' stop it from being comfy.
Total bullshit how there are permanent missables though.
>Short
Yea, that's my only problem with the game. It's too short.
no it isnt
Kinstone grinding was terrible. That and the figuring collecting were a massive disappointment for being basically all the optional side content. Rather than having dozens of places to explore or character interactions for the optional side bonuses, instead it was all regulated to getting random kinstone drops and pumping rupies into a slot machine.
The plot was overly railroady as well. I remember replaying the game from memory and getting stuck, only to find out that the problem was I needed to talk to one specific NPC, and then a whole event would trigger somewhere else which would allow me to progress. Between that and the constant forced dialogue all over the place, it's really a chore to get through.
The game mechanics and areas to explore were pretty good, though. I did like finding all the sword maneuvers and screwing around with them. I recall the Four Sword clones being interesting but I don't recall them being used all that much.
