The dlcs don't sold well. The main game however did. Add around a million more unit of the Royal Edition. If the DLCs sold like hotcakes, Square would definitely keep selling it even without Tabata. You wanna know why, because Tabata actually was never involved in any of XV's DLCs.

I will say I'm going to kind of miss the foreshadowing that Sephiroth. It seems he's going to show his face immediately, but considering that people most likely already know who he is, I can understand why they decided to change their storytelling.

The Sephiroth fight should confuse both Cloud and the player. Throughout the Midgar section Cloud has hallucinations of him. Suddenly in the Shinra headquarters when Jenova busts out in Sephiroth form---Cloud thinks it is another hallucination. Then an actual boss fight begins---midway through the battle Jenova begins to mutate and the rest of the party joins the fight.
