>+5% more gold from enemies
>enemies drop 3-5 gold to begin with

Percent shits fine if it has a minimum.
As your example, 1 more gold or 3% whichever is higher after calculation.

the modifier ought to be
>+5% more gold from enemies
>+4 extra gold from enemies
or something, the point is that there is a flat modifier that's immediately useful and a scaling one that becomes better at high levels

>minor potion of minor resistance to minor poisons
>"makes you 6% more likely to resist minor poisons for 9 seconds"

>Sword of Greed [Legendary]
>Doubles the gold dropped by enemies
>Can't gain EXP while equipped
>[hidden:]
>Cursed: can't be unequipped unless blessed
>Blessing cost: 1 million gold

RPG systems where you spend the game getting bigger numbers on swords are skinner boxes and are fundamentally uninteresting.

Seriously, what’s the fucking point of +2% poison resist? That’s probably only 1 dmg if you’re lucky otherwise it’ll be zero.

>rare endgame shit gives buff
>0.1% chance on hit to do 1% more damage for 2 seconds
What's the fucking point?

This is actually a cool weapon if you think about it. adds flavor to the game while giving a minor buff to low level characters. I would agree if it was a random drop and didn't have name though
