Kickstarter is a curse. Pillars of Eternity was hit hard, the game is full of OC Do Not Steal everywhere.

I dunno man, you start the game on a Galleon that runs ashore, you go into an abandoned village and from there on you make your way into the castle, which has at the very least a cave system, a garden area, an entrance hall, a mechanical tower full of gears, icy caves and a lava filled area at the very bottom. So locationswise there's at least three clearly distinct areas (ship, village, castle). All of these are interconnected, like it's standard fare for IGAvanias. Exceptions being PoR's portraits and OoE's hubworld.
You're also going to hop dimensions in the finale, probably the same way Soma entered the Chaos dimension in AoS, as it's a shard ability Gremory drops

I won't complain about that, not having Reize is good enough for me.

Nah man Classic Mode and the 8-bit bonus level are two different things. Bonus level is already in the game, classic mode is an asset flip that keeps the 2.5D look but retells the main story through linear stages like a proper Classicvania or Curse of the Moon.

Well it helps if you get something right, like not saying there is no effect when lamps get hit and not brushing off the point when a video shows there is. They've done a pretty good job at dealing with people's complaints, even in areas there was only small criticism. I remember a while ago someone was complaining there wasn't enough to do in combat, but now that we have found out that most weapons have moves. It probably has the most going on of IGAs games. Pillars 1 can and IS fixed with the IE Mod (I heavily recommend it).
This shit won't have a mod to fix it because everything is precompiled in Unreal, unlike Unity where everything can be easily disassembled due to complete lack of obfuscation and protection from Unity.

Seems like it is about 10x the size of the demo. Which (seeing as you also have the boat section) could be beat in about 2 hours, the main game being 10-15 hours sounds about right. Not factoring doing all the side quests and collecting. For comparison SotN is 10 hours normally

All the castlevanias by iga were pretty easy so I really don't expect much different from this one. The videos we have seen of people playing did show a few deaths, but they weren't playing amazingly well.
