Unironically Far Cry 2.
Babbies can't handle malaria and emergent combat situations. I also liked that once you're discovered, you can't go back to stealthing like in most games of its kind.
Black, F.E.A.R.
Battleborn, of course!

Dictates the sharpness of your edge.
The bar is actually made up of 4 segments, each representing an article of clothing that's a part of the Fingerless Glove Ensemble of the Outcast. The four articles of clothing are: a fedora, a trenchcoat, combat boots, and of course, fingerless gloves.
With the first bar segment filled, you get a -1 modifier to your Charisma rolls.
With the second, you acquire the "foul odor" trait, that, among other things, causes NPCs to be hesitant in approaching you (this includes potential quest givers and traders).
With the third, you are no longer capable of forming new friendships or otherwise meaningful bonds with other characters
When the bar is entirely filled, you are teleported to the secret School Shooter level which ultimately has a virtually guaranteed chance in ending the run of your current character, but if you manage to clear the level, you obtain eternal fame among a certain sect of NPCs and will gain whatever boons that may grant in addition to a permanent +5 modifier to all of your combat related rolls.
*tips fedora*
Wolf3D can get pretty bad in later episodes.
Malaria hardly pops up I never understood what the fuss was about
Its such a shame what happened with the rest of the series after 2, its my personal favorite single player fps
