its been said during the crash shitposting but this doesn't work with just about any other character because just about any other character is better for the game than steve
maybe if you got a photorealistic fortnite skin or a really disgusting tracer render from one of those weird porn pages you'd piss more people off but using characters people actually want doesn't work nearly as effectively as steve
it also helped that all steve posting was against a character people wanted for years too

If we were to ever get a new villain, he needs to be different from Steve. Steve was a prideful villain so this time we need a tragic villain who anybody can sympathize with. Since characters like Rayman and Geno keep being phased out over time, perhaps they can take on the role of villainy.

Same user. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if there was a Grotesque Banjo I probably would have been more interested. However, I think it needs to be kept in check or else everyone will think we're just trying to jump on the train of a dead meme. I think randomly posting a Grotesque version of a wanted character once in a while in a thread(like the above Rayman) to catch people off guard is funny, but too much and it'll just be stale.
