I have a stereo receiver and speakers and a subwoofer but I'm too lazy to run the speaker wire all over and I've never done it before, so I've been sitting on the setup for over four years now and haven't bothered.

I have a full and thick head of hair because I'm not an amerimutt with a disintegrating gene pool, so "gamer head" is a condition I will never have to worry about.

because gaming speakers still put the sound in front of you. this is not natural. sounds come at you from every angle, entering your ears. it is more natural to have two speakers, one on each ear, to simulate the natural way we experience sound.

the ideal set up is a surround sound system. like, the one with multiple speakers placed around the room. This is really expensive, though, and not practical for most PC gamers.

of course, if you have a home theater, like I do, you already have surround sound. so it only makes sense to set up your games there. still, headphones are close enough

I don't use a headset, I have a nice pair of headphones. I also have a pair of speakers but typically don't use them since it can interfere with using a mic.

I'm not a dumb nigger that uses headsets, I use headphones you troglodyte.
