If you mean the game itself, absolutely. Even at low levels you get a lot of engaging options that make you want to lean towards different builds before you finally settle on one towards the end of the game. Haven't touched TVHM or UVHM because the slag requirements and the stat ballooning is way too cancerous for me.

TVHM is fine, just fyi. Enemies still get their health bloated but it ins't that bad and slag is still only 1.5x damage like Normal so it isn't necessary. UVHM is the only time that bullshit comes into play.

Maybe, but the real issue is that in 2 there's audio logs of a much, much younger Angel being told by a psychopathic Jack to sit in a chair or something, and his whole thing to get us to open the Vault in 1 that he tells us about in 2 implies he was using her since before the first game.

It's pretty fun, even if there's less to do than BL2
I like how the characters you play as are actually characters now instead of drones shooting off the same one-liners over and over while people talk AT you instead of TO you. Hearing the person you're playing as actually react to things in the story is a big improvement. The characters themselves are also pretty fun to play as, even if I've only tried Wilhelm and Crapflap
Also the hard mode for TPS isn't masochisticly difficult since enemies don't constantly regenerate HP

The Lilith DLC takes place a full year after everything else in BL2, Tales, and the Sanctuary scenes in TPS. It's indicated by a side-mission where Brick celebrates Mordecai's first anniversary of being sober.

Playing B2 for the first time. After getting cloud kill for Maya the game became trivial. Everything melts in seconds, it's absurd.

The cloud was near-useless originally.

Way way back in the day it was one of her worst skills. They actually overtuned it for Normal and TVHM playthroughs but it's just right on UVHM after they buffed it.
Huge shame they couldn't fix other things across all the characters, but that's the nature of UVHm sadly.

My personal guess for the start of Bl3 is that either Sal or Krieg stay on hand as Vaughn's vice leutenant and help him to take back the lost glory of his old clan. The three big crimson raider-sided bandit clans (firehawk, slabs and vaughnguard) then being the big opposition for Children of the Vault on Pandora while the Crimson Raiders are spread across multiple worlds.

Lies, literally the bots first goto move when summoned is ALWAYS the clap which is a huge AoE and one of it's most damaging moves that can not only knock enemies off cliffs but also ignite any near explosives by them causing even more damage. So it will always do significant damage to a large amount of targets, and spec'ing her for cooldown pref will always ensure a swift return even if killed. Everytime i've had them in my party they went download the least out of all chars, and the battles went by quicker, Mayafag.

Considering Amara's awakened state turns her into Kali, Goddess of Destruction, she might just be a punch mage. Mix of Brick and Lilith possibly

Rhys only exists to give Atlas a reason to return in BL3.

I like it and its fun. People will shit on it, but the humor is a bit more muted than the story. Tina is in it, and she is still tina, but she actually has one part where she breaks her character a bit and gets a bit real.

There are a few Tales from the borderlands characters in it, so if you didnt play it you wont appreciate them as much. Either way you dont need to play the game to like them, but you might not really care at all for one of them thats an old dude.

The level cap increase is nice and the rainbow rarity guns are a good bit of fun. The guns are typically a reskin of another gun but with a unique effect to it. One of them is a nukem, but it is fire based instead of explosive (unique for torgue guns). One of the grenade mods you can find in this rarity is my new favorite grenade. Its like a pumped up storm front but has a slight pimpernel effect. If you hit an enemy just right with it, it fucking shreds. I am genuinely how good it is on a shock gaige, it can clear house with just 2 grenades.

All in all, its a damn nice dlc. Especially since its free, and its decently lengthy. The worst part is that the last boss does not have a substantial lootsplosion.

There is also a pretty touching side mission for one of the characters.

The clap really doesn't do much unless you can get slag spread around quickly beforehand. His spinning claw attack is the real damage-dealer.

Remember her introductory questline involves her getting you to get the specific bandit that ratted her parents out.

I just use deathtrap as a support bot and try and deal with everything with anarchy/electric builds.

Not the most effective, but its fun. I shoot backwards with my florentine and get slag, fire, and shock procs on every enemy in the room while deathclap constantly refills my turtle shields

If 2 had fixed the scaling it would be a solid 7/10 probably higher but the dialogue is a real turn off with 90% of it being memes or references

Also, Butt Stallion returns and barfs up much better loot than in the Tina DLC (nothing less than Blue-level, I've seen), plus a special Rainbow gun if you wear the amulet.

Deathtrap's melee damage is respectable, but his AI is a crapshoot. The spinning melee attack is the only thing worth a damn, every new ability you give him is something for his AI to bumble around with trying to use while not hitting things.
The Clap is slow, mediocre damage into OP levels and spreads enemies around. Blood-Soaked Shields invalidates Buck Up, and the rest of his moves are similarly bad.

In OP levels, Claptrap can't keep up. Gets killed way too easily, your best bet is give him an Antagonist and have him absorb some damage for you and spread slag around. You can shield swap him a Hide of Terra but really what's the point.

tannis' dialogue was also super boring. She was super dry in 1 and her crazy lol writing didnt hit too hard.

worst thing about the willhelm part is that him being pathetically weak was going to be a story element. There is unused dialogue of jack poisoning willhelm to be easier to kill.
The whole point of willhelm being easy to die is a set up from jack anyways, this missing dialogue would have made it a way better part of the story. It would have added to jack's character showing how ruthless he is, and it woulda just made the boss being piss easy make sense.

None of the glitches ever got fixed, so the only thing you're really getting is better graphics and a mini-map.

there are 6 new legendaries, the final boss was tweaked a bit (still a bullet sponge though), and he has tons of chests that spawn in his room when you kill him now, one chest that has a guaranteed drop of one of the new legendary guns

You can also change the FOV (not sure if you can on consoles), and there is character customization heads (about 3 or 4 per character)

I also want to start a new character but a lot of side quests are tedious and theres a lot of them.
They don't give anything worthwhile but i feel bad if i just ignore them.
God forbid you have to go through a area with no vehicles.

If i am going to uvhm how do i make krieg work in a 4 man team i am in tvhm now and it suck that people either kill stuff and i can't regen with my melee or something kill me too fast. Maybe it is just my level? I am level 45 at the moment. I can't think of anything to sustain me in coop especially some boss fight where people keep on killing the mob.

The big problem with UVHM is that all enemies get constantly regenerating health at all times, EVEN WHILE YOU'RE SHOOTING THEM
which means it's a constant DPS race against their regen
Also enemy health pools are inflated to the point where slag becomes absolutely mandatory, you won't be able to kill anything higher than a basic skag or bandit without it. This means one gun slot is always going to be a slag weapon, most likely an SMG, and you have to swap to it 50 times per fight because slag only lasts about 5 seconds like all other effects. It gets old fast.

cassius is kinda easier because of the absurd number of fire weapons in the dlc and i got a Fire Avenger, Storm and Butcher from him

The key element of Hellborn is Elemental Empathy which essentially add a constant stream of healing from every enemy on map being in agony of burning, being electrocuted and corroded.

The stacks give endless magazines and instant swap speed to apply every element in one second.
Alternatively, thanks to FOTFH and Raving Retribution you don't even need to shoot anything in fact.
