Tidus was a better protagonist.

>game
Can you even call it that?

gottem

Whatever, Adult Noctis is better looking

The only thing that bothered me about Noctis' design after the timeskip is that he doesn't really look like an aged version of himself. He looks like a different, Asian guy.

The sad part is, post-time-skip Noctis was so likable. He was actually kingly. It just sucks that he didn't earn that character change. He was whiney all the way up until the end, then he emerges after ten years of meditation as one of the best protags in the series, but because it was rushed, poorly developed, and shoved into an already crappy story, it falls flat.

Taken on its own, however, the ending is still one of the best in the series, and if that's all you saw of the game, you could be fooled into thinking it was good.

FUCK VIDEO GAMES. Trannies and libruls are taking over our society!!

At least Tidus' girlfriend lives for more than half of his game.

He earned it just fine. He was trapped within the crystal, being taught what his true purpose was and what he needed to do. Listening to that shit will grow a man the fuck up if he's subjected to it for 10 years and manages not to go insane.

At least Luna's eyes color match

Adult Noct is literally a different head put on his young body. They didn't even bother make him a new body model.

King of Kusoge

You missed the whole point of that game. Yuna was the protagonist, you just don't play as her.

Adult Noctis was literally just the 30 year old head model pasted onto his teenage body. It was jarring as fuck, what the fuck are you talking about?

The game didn't earn it. Throwaway lines don't explain such rapid development. It's story-telling 101. The game had plenty of time to let Noctis grow, but they kept holding him back until the very end of Niflheim, but the little change we see there wasn't enough.

I saw your previous post, no need to samefag like an autist until you get your reply.

> Listening to that shit will grow a man the fuck up if he's subjected to it for 10 years and manages not to go insane.
Nigga didn't even know 10 years even happened. He was literally just there for the cutscene real time, but "10 years passed".

Nah, different dude. Scrolled down and caught the same thing though. Probably should have read most of the thread.

I didn't beat this game because I fucking hated it, so I can't contribute to this thread.

I felt bad playing this game. You could tell there was a lot of potential kino moments, but most of them had no build and fell felt because of all the shitshow development.

Timeskips are just that: Periods of time you as the viewer will never actually see. If you're going to be that dissatisfied with that particular character development change, you might want to skip out on a lot of different movies and books. Timeskips have a way of doing just this.

The game's story absolutely did not have enough time for Noctis to grow much as a person in the part of his life you play. There is a maybe a whole 6 months tops between the car breaking down and Noctis reaching the crystal. Some change may occur, but nowhere near on the level of development you're clearly expecting.

How he perceived the time passing doesn't matter. He was taught about his purpose. Being told "You have to die to save the world, and it's going to hurt everyone around you to do it, but it's literally the only way the world doesn't descend into a dark hell and kill everyone." will sober anyone the fuck up. None of his petty shit mattered anymore, and he was a good enough person on the inside to know it and not whine about it anymore.

Right, but it isn't being drilled into him constantly for 10 years. He was told like one time, it just happened to take 10 years for some reason. It's just a 5 minute conversation that drug on for 10 years. Not some hypnosis shit on repeat.

This, there was so many moments that could have been extremely kino, but nonexistent buildup makes them fall flat. The VAs really do their best both in English and Japanese and their performances are probably what kept me going through this game. The last campfire scene actually was very well done and emotional, every big scene in this game could have been just as good if not better.

By the way, Ignis DLC is top tier from start till the end (both ends, despite the second one making the real ending of the game completely pointless). Ignis is such a bro.

My only real complaint with FF15's story is how Ravus goes from "I want to kill everyone in the Lucis Caelum family for Regis' role in my mother's death!" to "Luna, I just don't think Noctis is capable of growing the fuck up and doing what is necessary to save us all." There is no cutscene explaining his shift in attitude, there is no piece of paper explaining it. It just happens and it makes absolutely no fucking sense.

Gods have a way of leaving a stronger impression on a person than them just being told something by a normal person.

Why would his body have changed proportions?

Nigga you're completely missing the point.
>he's subjected to it for 10 years and manages not to go insane.
This is all I'm talking about.
10 years happens from the outside, but on his perspective it's just like 5 mins.
I'm not talking about him manning the fuck up or anything like that. All I'm saying is he's not subjected to shit except a brief conversation.

Because his head sure did.
