Gotta admit that's some nice hardwood floors. I got shitty carpet, frankly I hate carpet floors but I guess it's a personal preference. Hardwood floors are more aesthetically pleasing and about 10x easier to keep clean. I don't see a benefit to having carpeted floors. If OP's room had carpet it would actually be way less comfy and aesthetically pleasing to look at.

I play everything on my main monitor, it can run 1080p@120Hz. It's a very rare beauty, for sure. The one on my right is what I use for retro emulation, so 240p/480p stuff. I either plug my softmodded Wii into it or hook it up to my PC.

Literally the worst combination possible. You get the fucking around and cost of original hardware, the input latency of an LCD, digital to analog to digital conversion, and the lack of graphics/controller options available on an emulator.

Unlike owning a massive collection of carts, which makes zero difference compared to offloading your sad collection and just using a flashcart, owning multiple CRTs is useful. Different tubes are rated for different scanrates and TVL count, which actually changes how you experience the game.

I'm also not a mentally ill collector like you, since I regularly pick up then give away monitors as a service to the community.

I use a ~$50 camping cot since I live in a single room efficiency apartment with a roommate. I got an inch thick foam mattress pad and cut it to size, which goes under a fitted sheet that I tuck under the four corner legs. It's firm and surprisingly very comfortable. I would say that it beats at least half of the mattresses I've slept on, and it supports me without leaving any cramps in the morning.

If you toss and turn a lot or spread your limbs out, probably a bad idea. I'm also 5'8", 125lbs so if you have a large frame I also wouldn't recommend.

Yeah, I've been contemplating on whether I should get real plants but there could be numerous problems with it like the soil attracting bugs (eg.fruit flies), the growth of mold and I may end up neglecting them.
