The witting was bad a lot of times but the world they created imo was rly cool, and this "stupid amount of shit" that you mentioned wouls be perfect for a rpg, where you could read about the lore anytime you wanted in a in game library like in skyrim. And i personally like the freedom fighters way more than the most of crew from the game from the games

I don't understand what exactly are you complaining. Yes? Of course you will know absolutely nothing and feel lost if you simply pick random middle issue number, and face up with A LOT of locals and characters that you don't know who are they. What the hell were you expecting?
Just pick the very first issue and start from there. Geez, was that hard, phew! This is absolutely nothing different from many more comics franchises.
