Fucking nothing, pure downgrade in Fallout.

It did BR mode and multiplayer right

made looting faster i guess, also better gunplay but thats not saying much when everything else is far worse

No that was 76 4 was atleast playable

Decent body
Ugly fucking secondlife tier tattoos
Ugly face
Long neck
5/10 do better next time

Some better animations, like walking and stuff. The improvements of the engine were noticed, but that's all engine stuff really. What Fallout 4 had wasn't really a lot. What was there was okay at best and was pretty bland in style because they half-assed everything imo.

Tattoos on women will forever look hideous and trashy. It pisses me off when a girl will have a nice body but then have a shitty rose or bird on their arm or leg. I want this trend of everyone having "Get a tattoo!" on their bucket list to die.

How is it that it made looting faster when 3 and NV have "Take all" buttons?

Ok nerd

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who liked minutemen and settlements in my current playthrough I'm doing railroad and minuteman build kinda building them up as a liberating the commonwelth type of thing

Hey I don't mind piercings or dying hair when it's done correctly. My beef with tattoos is that majority of people get them halfassed for the sake of thinking they're unique or that they're "grown up" now. No one really goes all out or fully commit for something permanent and would stick with a small distraction or a clusterfuck of random things all over them. I do love Yakuza style tats though.

Attached: yakuza-tattoo2.jpg (1080x1080, 210K)

A couple of tats on a girl aren't a dealbreaker. It's when it's all over her that it gets unsightly.

but user yakuza tatts are to be mark them like diseased livestock in society, a mark/brand of a criminal, it was created to prevent them from ever becoming anything in society as people would deny jobs and service to them because of the tatts. thats the origin of it.

>no porn mod framework like Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas
Why would I even bother.

Better than a cunt tattooing the date she miscarriage or her dog died with a badly drawn Jesus and R.I.P in large font

The guns are way better. Modding them is really fun and easy. Also building and arming settlements can be really fun and made even better with a few mods.

I don't mind those personally cause they do mean something

Not the guy you're replying to, but yeah that's the trick lmao. Idiots want fear and respect from fellow plebs, so they get one. But the people at the top do it to prevent underlings from ever rising any higher than a dirtbag parasite. You find this a lot in the underworld.

not user but you could pick up stuff from bodies and chests on the fly as in you don't have to go through inventory

Based

>great visual character customization (with mods)
>decent gunplay
>nice looking graphics at times
>power armor feels good

Melee is still a fucking joke and the only really worthwhile thing to come out of FO4 is the memes and the outrage
I tried 76 a couple days ago since it was free, it felt like shit to play and you couldn't even see your feet
I inherently dislike survival games or games with survival/realism mechanics so I dropped it quickly but it certainly does put in question why I liked 4 at all

Iirc they implemented the feature that loot inside chests and such is shown before you even open it so you know when to bother

they mean she's a retard yeah

Gunplay was great

General combat feels less like ass.

Power armor from a combat standpoint and upgrading. Feels like a proper mechanical suit now.

Weapon upgrade mechanics, although it could have been handled better. There needs to be reasons to pick X over Y instead of just raw damage numbers, but it gave much greater incentive to play builder/mechanic focused characters.

Settlement building was a fun side gimmick, it just needed to be fleshed out more. Sim Settlements does that and it's a superb mod.

Robots and robot companions. The Assaultron was a great addition and the Automatron DLC is a fan favourite.

Companions were drastic improvements over previous Bethesda titles. The only truly unlikable character is probably Preston Garvey, everybody else is great.

I personally liked melee but ya need a shit ton of agility

Oh, neat. Alright.

The minutemen and even the settlement shit would have been okay if it wasn't so goddamn tedious. And once you fix the place up, it should be impervious to attacks. Like if you put up 100 goddamn turrents then you shouldn't get notifications that raiders or mutants are attacking. If every settler is wearing power armor and have a tattling laser, they don't need you there to figure shit out.
In addition, it's so tedious to equip settlers with shit. Why isn't there an "apply to all" button? You can arm them in a specific way or something. Talking to 10 settlers per settlement and having to go across the whole map sucks ass. Not that there's any point, since it doesn't matter what they have or what they're equipped with.
I really wish Bethesda would give us the option to activate or deactivate DLC quests. I want the shit from the DLCs but i dont want to do the retarded mechanist quest or go to nuka world. I just want the assets.
It's an okay game, but it just feels very shallow. It looks okay I guess, but there just isn't much room to roleplay. Considering all of their games get alternate start mods, I really hope TESVI includes it from the start. A few questions or something and you get placed in a random starting spot. Something to make me want to replay the game a different way.

Preston was only really unlikely because of settlement quests I think once you got the castle they should have been put on radio freedom

No, it wasn't.
It was better than 3 and NV, that's true. But it doesn't make it great.

>better animations
>visuals were improved in a technical sense but stylistically worse
>better combat
>power armor (despite the bugs)
>settlement system was fun
It seems if you didn't like building settlements then you probably didn't like Fallout 4. That seems to be the dividing line for a lot of people.

b&r

Settlements were pretty fun but ultimately pretty pointless with enemies spawning inside your walls and the like

Gun fighting got improved?
I've a hard time finding anything good desu...
I used to be such a huge Bethesda shill but then I bought the whole fucking collector's edition of FO4 and then got the game and realized how SHITTY it was. I was so disappointed.

I wonder if I could resell that shit at a good price...

Same shitty engine, same shitty textures, same shitty face models, same shitty experience. I fucking HATED the infinite quest NPC nagging you about random places getting attacked ALL THE TIME. I had a mod just to shut him the fuck off.

Well I went full on melee for my first playthrough and the fucking teleport attack is ridiculously stupid and melee attacks overall are really unsatisfying unless you crit on a limb or something

>a great selection of music
>rehashing from 3 is somehow a great selection

Sales and marketing, the hype was insane. Literally killed the entire franchise with one game, fallout can't never come back unless another company picks it up

power armor feeling like an actual suit and the looting change was neat
everything else was fucking trash though

Hey fags defending the game:
Just think for once. What if the game had no mod support? What you would be left with is a pile of buggy garbage.

Bethesda is the equivalent of Indians coders trying to build a game. Gamebryo FTW right???

It's implemented extremely poorly and in the most lazy way possible.
>Everything you can build it half destroyed already
>Basically no good way to customize stuff
>Unless you have a totally flat area, there's no way to avoid tons of clipping and floating shit
>Oh, and guess what, 99% of the areas you can build on aren't flat at all so enjoy your floating and clipping
>Can't clear everything automatically, you have to walk around the whole area to delete shit
>Can't delete every thing anyway, you'll always have that destroyed house and that pile of garbage and dirt and trash everywhere
>In the end your settlements look just as shitty as the place did before, but YOU got to make it look like a shitty train wreck! Thanks Todd!!

I agree. That's bethesda games in a nutshell: decent foundation but little depth and poorly polished result.

very enlightening user, i thank you for bringing this valuable information to us

>Better gunplay
>Settlement building was genuinely fun
Everything else was a downgrade.

Ok buddy we're just having a positive thread about vidya

All true. I ended up using console commands to place and delete stuff to avoid those problems. It just didn't work.

wow you're so soft
go back to plebbit please

Robot DLC is a nice setup for mods to make robo waifus that you could customize. Its a shame theres very little in that regard since everyone seems obsessed with human-centric sex mods (or synths).
