If you want potential mods, edits, 60+ FPS at all times and best graphics get it on PC. If you want portability at the cost of 20 - 30 FPS in town/field areas but locked 60 in battle, get it on Switch. Only reason to get it on PS4 is because you can't run it on PC.

They are all the same, the only difference is performance. All of them have uncapped FPS tho and during battle I think all version are consistently 60FPS. PC version is the best tho provided your PC isn't complete garbage.

I disagree. Graces f had an unholy amount of problems with it's combat from eleth burst to accuracy/evasion. All of that had been reworked in Berseria's combat to flow much more naturally and giving the player full control.

I have a friend who still refuses to play the game because of the debt system, even though you should never be in need of money in the entire game. You don't even need to buy anything really.

As a person who played the 360 version and now the ps4 definitive edition, the only change I noticed is that bosses fall on their ass and go invulnerable for a long ass time constantly so your combo drops because you apparently can't hit an enemy that's laying down.
And that's fucking bullshit and annoying.
It drove me nuts attempting to do combos that were my cookie-cutter go-to combos on 360 only to see the boss faceplant every 2-3 hits.

You can't combo into pick-up attacks however. Your combo drops the moment you do, making Yuri's tension skills a lot more situational than they used to be. You cannot combo from an arte string into a free-run attack and back into arte combos.

In Vesperia they did more of a battle system rework and introduced the cancelling stuff in the update, and you get properly rewarded for doing big combos

abyss having ingame info about the size of the planet, number of habitant in each kingdom, 700 something days in a year (which implies that humans take twice as long to age) are stuff the we don't find in rpgs anymore.
Eternia having two planets and both full of hidden places and eache planet with the depths of their oceans explorable with hidden place will probably never be topped tho.

Rebirth's cast just don't fit well with the rest of the tales cast. rebirth was peak 2000s anime. not edgy but somber/gloomy. We can see that in Abyss and Destiny 2/Destiny DC

If I remember right the population in abyss is a few ten million overall because the number of humans who get killed outside the major cities is really fucking high
