>it's like [good thing i like] and [good thing i like] combined!
>it sucks
hmmmmm

Why does it suck? It's quite a good hidden gem.

Its great and all but there really is nothing to talk about. Not too many people had it, kinda like Second Sight, both great games, somewhat hidden gem level stuff

i forgot this exists, thanks nig,ill play it this week

I replay it every few years. The game had top-notch atmosphere and wonderfully varied design (done by Stan Lee, supposedly).

both great games interesting settings and cool combat

Played it, good game, nothing really else to talk about. Runs like shit on modern PCs.

This monkey is indeed correct.
This game kicks rocks and is based as all shit.

What's a good place to buy this?

>buy this

the piratebay store

Attached: TO1233.jpg (352x352, 35K)

This game came out before Bioshock

Isn't it on GOG?

is abandonware...

>it's like bioshock

To be fair I've only played the first one, but what the fuck are you talking about

I am always getting these two games mixed up

its boring

Thanks just picked both games up since they were on sale.
>not supporting good games and/or being poor
Gross.

The second game is really not good.
The first one is amazing though.

Midway is deader then shit so its pretty much abandonware. Just pirate it

>eccentric side character that follows you throughout the game
>enemies that climb all over the walls like splicers
>morality mechanic

Whom are you supporting exactly you daft cunt? Not only is Surreal Software defunct, Midway doesn't exist either.

>look everyone!
>When I breathe through my mouth really loud it automatially opens a shit thread on Yea Forums!

The game has great artstyle, I give you that.

Its 7 bucks for both games. Fuck off jews.

what a fucking chad

Is it on pstore? Or where did you find em for 7 bucks?

Agreed. I have both and the first one is drastically better imo.

Its on sale on GoG

This dude is such an interesting character. It sucks that playing as a good guy locks you on the boring slavechaser route. I could give a fuck about that guy, even if he did capture my great great great grandmother or whatever the fuck.

>gets called out
>j-j-jews!

Pathetic attempt at saving face, funny. I suggest next time you check your facts before you talk. What's next in your playground insults book?

Shut up nigger.

>jews, niggers, poor

that's it?

Silence boogat.

>>enemies that climb all over the walls like splicers
I don't even remember that happening in Bioshock.

You didn't play it then, they showed up at the second fucking level.

I haven't played this one yet but first was great for its characters

Didnt know that. Well, as its said here, 1 is better then 2 so might want to save few bucks by only getting the first one.

It has some replayability due to the endings and the choices too what you make ultimately they affect only the ending but game plays differently depending on do you kill the other people or not

I hope you enjoy it if you buy it and the monster design is fantastic

>Everything that is shitty so that makes it not well known is a hidden gem
Retard

no it's not.

PS2 had a lot of these good forgotten tps games.
Suffering, Psi-Ops, Second Sight, Kill.Switch, Cold Fear, etc.
But because they didn't gain track no one talks about them.

I unironically love that game. I didn't think Cliver Barker's The Wire would be a good idea, but it actually worked really well.

I think no one talks about those games because so many better games in the genre have come out since then that aside from Psi-Ops, most of those are unplayable now. They broke ground at the time (aside from Cold Fear, whose biggest claim to fame was being an RE4 clone that was actually good) but they don't really offer a unique experience anymore.

>see an ad for cold fear in a game magazine
>super excited to play it and now lawns and do chores to preorder it
>dad gives me permission to borrow his play station to play it
>2 days before release my dad hits my mom and she kicks him out
>he takes his play station with him and they got divorced a few months later
>never got to play cold fear

They weren't unique even on release. Still solid games that people enjoyed to clear for the first time.
>most of those are unplayable now
Perfectly playable, even on windows 10.

Stan Winston my g

You can get Cold Fear on steam right now. Or pirate it and grab fan patches from pcgamingwiki.

>They weren't unique even on release
Psi Ops and Second Sight were the first console games to really employ physics based combat effectively and kill.switch literally created an entire genre that every second TPS emulated for the next ten years.

Kill.switch is the first tps with sticky cover system. Long before Gears of War popularised it.

Based on all the responses to his thread alone, the retard is you.

>Suffering 1
>meet and old white guy trying to escape the island on a boat
>decide whether you should help him escape or not
>let him die because he's in a maximum security prison and could likely be a notorious pedophile who raped 9001 children
>bad karma

>Suffering 2
>stumble into a crackhouse
>some insane junkie thinks I'm their dad
>gets killed after the cutscene
>bad karma

You know, for a game that actually has a really interesting backdrop that makes you weigh up the morality of it all, it's obsessed with it's shit karma system.
