Personally, I like SM64 better, but Banjo has a lot of fun movement options. The game doesn't stop and kick you out of levels every time you collect the main target item. There are situational transformation segments and overall the game has more variety.

They didn't - you can't really do rhymes like that in Japanese. She has a weird speech pattern and draws out words strangely in a way to maintain a unique way of talking, but it's not the same snappy dialogue she has in English.
