It's about eye movement and focus. Most people get tunnel vision while playing, so they put the party list next to their hotbars when healing so they can monitor their cooldowns and the party at the same time.

If you don't want your party list at the bottom, you could use an additional oversized hotbar to display your cooldowns next to your party list instead.

I got the impression it shouldn't be necessary because MT will always be in tank stance and essentially always do their enmity combo because everything is an enmity combo in tank stance.

Equilibrium is vital but it's not enough to hold aggro on its own without the Inner Release immediately afterwards. At best it would be dicey.

You can get any job to level 70 in a week with a few hours of playtime per day, especially with the new EXP earring you get from pre-ordering the expansion.
