Snake is the biggest, most jaw dropping reveal Smash has ever had, and it will never be topped. Some have gotten damn close, like K Rool, Banjo, and Everyone is Here, but none of them caught the audience by surprise like Snake did.

No one expected him, no one thought it was even possible, but Snake being the first true guest character set a standard for guest characters that many frequently forget: Any character is possible if they are iconic enough.

And no matter how much people say otherwise, over the course of three games that rule has been proven time and time again.

Reddit is that way.

The have a lot of projectiles, and as we saw with the kazooie gun move, they can advance while keeping projectile pressure going, and with better range than Megaman's lemons. That, plus their invulnerable feathers, makes me think they will be good at both gap closing and zoning. They'll be running circles around zoners like Megaman, the Belmonts, and Villager while matching their shots blow for blow. Their egg grenade, if it has the same properties as young link's bomb, could add a lot to their recovery and off-stage options.

The kicker is if they can handle the disjointed hitbox characters like the anime swordsmen. They look pretty fast and got a lot of mobility, so long as they don't have to deal too much with recovery frames I could see them being high tier character considering how freely they seem to move around, hover, and possibly get extra jumps with those feathers.
