PICKED UP

>Maybe accept, but also possibly change reward/negotiate something extra if stats are good enough
>Just Accept
>Not accepting yet, got other shit to do

you retarded or something?

Oh you sweet summer child

its literally how the first game worked

Don't bother everybody is retarded

>Accept conditionally
>Accept unconditionally
>Decline while leaving the door open to pick it up later if desired

I don't see a problem with this. Is OP mad there's no superedgy "Go fuck yourself, thot! LOL!" option? And we've already seen that the mission has diverging endpaths where you can just kill the informant and tell her you didn't do what she wanted, as well as betraying her for that Nosferatu contact as I recall.

OP is a dumb fag.

Can't you scroll through the dialogue like shown when speaking to the Nosferatu? Why are you being disingenuous?

Wow its like this isnt the final product or something.
Its as if theres like a year to go before its supposed to come out.

you are fucking retarded

>he unironically thinks they're actually changing quests that are already done
L O L

What other options did you expect in this situation? "DO A BACKFLIP" or "Hey bb want som fuk?"

Attached: 1487257327891.png (350x425, 98K)

its literally how the first game handled dialogue

Yes, these are still shit options.
A script with freedom of choice would look more like this
>Accept (And other forms of accept, like try to haggle, accept for a favor instead of money)
>Don't accept
>Ill come back to it
>Violently refuse to accept (betray her)
>Offer alternative solution to thing she wants me to do
>Multiple questions about the job and world lore in general

Attached: 1532754816064.png (1274x703, 572K)

Where's the INT 1 option?

You're missing:

>Turn quest giver into anal slave
>*Sigh*
>"I think I've got indigestion"
>*raise your eyebrows*
>"Sorry, I was zoned out... what is it you were talking about again?"

This happened in 1 too. You can't refuse slashing the painting even as a Toreador with high humanity

Just imagine what could have been if a studio that were actually fans of the original game were given the rights to develop this game. Imagine if CDPR was developing VTMB.

You'll need the BBC perk for the first one though.

>Imagine if CDPR was developing VTMB.
I too want to play a VTMB game about a Brujah trying to find their place in the open world of darkness.

That is an outdated design, and a bigot view of the world, we cannot punch down people who aren't born with certain features, we must punch up.

because they still can not accept that fallout 4 was shite.

this is honestly retarded, what if it was just a fucking simple question ? You ever talk to some dude and when he asks you to go out and have a beer you think:

>accept
>maybe later
>not accept
>violently refuse
>tell me about the process of making beer
>how about we have some tea instead ?
>tell me about the lore of this beer my dear friend

Fucking Yea Forums retarded as shit sometime.

Attached: 1537907438068.jpg (601x601, 35K)

This looks like a trashy western porn "VN"

>tell me about the process of making beer
>tell me about the lore of this beer my dear friend
I'm Belgian, and let me tell you, this comes up a lot.

>that character design

looks like resetera personified

No that's what we're getting now.

Christ almighty
WHO TALKS LIKE THAT
WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON Yea Forums(NEL)
YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE PLEASE FUCK OFF AND DIE

this game isn't made by belgians so you can fuck off

Based waffle.

Apologize to the Kongo

>Accept (Good)
>Prolong conversation (Neutral)
>Insult for no reason (Evil)

Never.

based retard poster

that actually sounds like the kind of autistic gameplay I'd enjoy.

>Violently refuse to accept (betray her)
It's not betrayal when you refuse a job.
It's betrayal when you accept the job, then don't actually finish it for her, instead you do the fucking opposite of what she asked you to do.
Which you can totally fucking do in the demo they showed.
Or you can do it, but then betray her by turning the information you get into her enemies instead of her, which AGAIN you can do in the demo they showed.

-Accept
-Refuse
-Expand
These are the three main choices for all quests, in pretty much every RPG.

>Imagine if CDPR was developing VTMB.
We'd get the same thing but with higher budget, less trannies, and voiced protagonist.

>I'll take the job.
>I'll take the job but I'm not happy about it.
>I'll take the job...for an extra $5.
>I'll take the job...later.
>I'll take the job, bitch.
>Floppy loppy boo boo doo doo.
>Why aren't you naked you malicious whore?
>I'll take the job...cutie.
>I'll take the job. Game can't continue otherwise right? *wink*
>Hmmmm. After interpreting the variables of the operations required for the job as well as the consequences of completing an assignment for you, specifically in terms of how my own group or potential future partners may feel, I have decided the outcomes from this job and any details you may be hiding are a suitable risk for the reward. I'll take the job.
>Me like job. Me bash and smash and shoot and loot.
>S-s-s-ure I'll I'll t-t-t-t-take the job.
>Whatever. Job taken.

Give me my writer's award. You've just received the most immersive dialogue selection in history.

Yes.
Yes.
No.
More options when you meet Samuel and Slugg later.

What exactly is the problem? You can accept or decline her offer and then play the quest out in a number of ways depending on how you handle the talks with Samuel/Slugg.

This is in line with the first game.

really?
muh dik

This.

Both Vampire and Outer Worlds seem mediocre at best

Damn that gameplay video was disappointing, so many things wrong and its like 8 months till release...

Was that the int 1 option?

So, what's all this shit with Outstar and the Quartering? I saw something about it while scrolling through youtube

Jimmy spilled his spaghetti and Outstar got butthurt and dm d him
They made peace and had some hot pockets

This reads like a fucking meme

Attached: 1467253794617.png (625x574, 33K)

Attached: reddit_vocabulary.jpg (1024x683, 141K)

I'd recognize her silky smooth voice anywhere. Unfortunately, she's pretty much the only good thing about that video.

Literally the first game, but with less Dominate.

>"reddit vocabulary"
>pic very obviously mocks twitter
i fucking hate summer

have sex

Would you consider City-Builders like Zeus/Cleopatra strategy games?

Attached: zues.jpg (505x640, 47K)

You have to plan your shit so yeah

>Multiple questions about the job and world lore in general

Wouldn't these just be options you could choose before she brings up the question of if you want the job?

Of course

>game that focuses more on SJW shit than choices that matter and good gameplay is bad

WOW

Attached: 1560599865143.png (662x478, 22K)

Outstar is a corporate boolicker.

So I guess in this thread we're pretending there weren't unavoidable quests in the first game?

Fucking idiot.

There's too many tourists here now, they all think they can fit in by pointing out obvious jokes.

Sounds like an RPG then.
-t. Yea Forums

It just sucks but its understandable. If they made it truly free then it would probably need 1-2 more years of development for all the different options.

Kill yourself shill

Is there any RPG that's actually "truly free"? At some point you're always going to run into an obligatory main quest that you have to accept. At most you can delay accepting it or accept reluctantly while negotiating for better rewards, which seems to be the case with the demo's quest. So what's the problem here?

Gaming is dead, consoles killed it.

GLASS HER

I think a rpg can be designed as truly free but not sure if many people would want to play it. No main quest but lots of loose ends that leads to a end in a sandbox environment. Anyway I have no problem with vtmb2 being as linear as vtmb.

>implying they're not the same

>former game industry employee is in line with the game industry
Whoah

>implying original VtMB wasn't linear

>what POSSIBLE other answer could exist other than 'yes'

Attached: brainlet.png (621x702, 56K)

>hey you, wake up
>''No''
>game over
pinnacle of game design right here guys, nintendo hire me

Attached: ylyl_132.jpg (499x275, 34K)

Actually there is no answer except "yes" which will lead forward

Yea remember when you could tell Jeanetter you didn't want to go into the spooky horror hotel and you could just find another way to proceed with the main quest by exploring carefully crafted dialog options?

Oh wait no your only options were "Yes", "Yes but give me more money" and "Yes but later". I guess the first game was shit after all!

It's this the beginning of the quest? If so, it is acceptable. No matter how much Yea Forums likes to meme, some options are just insane and not worth programming when you take into account how people actually play games, I mean, why the fuck would you ever refuse a quest? Just pick up every quest and if you don't want to do it or it sounds boring you just don't do it, there should options in the middle of the quest that can affect it's outcome or conditions to fail it but no normal player who is not a contrarian faggot would ever refuse to start a quest.

Attached: COMPLEX MORAL CHOICES.jpg (1024x768, 253K)

>not sure if many people would want to play it.
What is Mount and Blade?

I think Way of the Samurai is like that. You have this open world and you can fuck around in it and depending on where and how you fuck around you get an ending after a few hours but I wouldn't know since I got majorly lost at the beginning of 3 from the lack of instructions. I should get back to it someday.

This quest allows you to do the quest, fail to get the information and kill the target before obtaining it and so basically fail the quest. You can also get the information and then lie, claiming you didn't get it, ending the quest and presumably allowing you to give it to someone else for some benefit. Hardly Bethesda-tier RPG gameplay.

I don't know why this image made me laugh like a bitch

t. SJW

Or dialogue where the voices tell you what's actually going on.
>she's lying to you, we know this
>hey you think the man in the tv knows we're onto him
>uh oh better pay attention she's looking at us

Based retard

To me it looks like before the actual start of this mission you can choose to go to a faction of your preference, hence the multiple Accept options we're seeing here. Pity that the demo shows us supporting the Most boring one.

>Hate newspapers

...

You should be able to outright refuse and have her dominate you to do it like Lacroix

oh wait I forgot, Tremere don't have Dominate in this shitty game anymore oops

>>Hmmmm. After interpreting the variables of the operations required for the job as well as the consequences of completing an assignment for you, specifically in terms of how my own group or potential future partners may feel, I have decided the outcomes from this job and any details you may be hiding are a suitable risk for the reward. I'll take the job.

Attached: D7YEf4BXkAIJbdf.png (859x899, 538K)

Sounds unironically kino. Why can’t RPGs be this immersive in the Current Year?

>Violently refuse to accept (betray her)
>Offer alternative solution to thing she wants me to do
>Multiple questions about the job and world lore in general

The absolute state of Yea Forums "role players"

>"In my dear uncle's memory, the doors to our new Seattle headquarters is finally open. And you are among our first guests. How may I assist you?"

Attached: dwayne.jpg (1074x602, 165K)

youtube.com/watch?v=Jx_MDxgWO4Y

I wish there were more games like Far Cry 4

Blame the fucking consoles and their limited input

I finally get it. VTM:B is a meme game. Only a tiny fraction of the people who post about it have actually played the game. Like OP.

Hate Seattle newspaper

you can't even ask her where the nosferatu guy is, you have to follow the omniscient quest marker like you're braindead, very immersive

>VTM:B is a meme game
What the fuck is the word "meme" even mean to you?

Attached: 1358706505064.jpg (340x565, 46K)

>consolized
>streamlined
>dumbed down
>no choices
>pozzed
Dropped

As in, being interested in the game is a meme. It's something people just parrot and repeat from other Yea Forums posters, and not something most people who discuss it have even played. It's like say, Deus Ex. Everyone pretends to care but it's actually a niche game.

Attached: 1557753595750.jpg (330x269, 43K)

>being interested in the game is a meme
You didn't answer the question and so you wrote a some bullshit. The word "meme" means nothing and has no meaning too you; it's just an excuse.

Attached: 1358399444779.jpg (200x267, 18K)

This

>a lot of the humorous and realistic dialog in VTMB involved sexual innuendos
>literal rape in the current year, none of it will be in
Can't wait. I'm so morbidly curious how terrible the writing is going to be with so many dozens of groups they're not allowed to offend and the stated goal of the developer to "punch up", presumably against the straight white male.

The int 1 option is a 4channer taking a bait

>posts jojo
the absolute state of you

Are you just pissed off? What the fuck are these hostile ass responses? Did I fucking trigger you guys by implying there are a bunch of posers on Yea Forums? Calm the fuck down.

So how shit is this game going to be?
