Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
DON'T use W10's own virtual disc app!
Don't install under C:\Program Files\ !
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
Follow the SH2 widescreen fix site's instructions to the teeth, and you should be fine.
For 3 & 4, check the Guide.
Play in release order, never below Normal difficulty.

Based and survivalhorrorpilled
The Penumbra games, at least the first two.
Nothing new though, they're nothing but scripted jumpscares.
alone in the dark
I like silent hill a lot but i dont think any of these are short. I wanna start and finish this weekend with a friend coming over
Anything not being jump scare is extra points
>looks like a PSOne game with a really clean art style
>released in fucking 1992
HOW
>I like silent hill a lot but i dont think any of these are short.
You can run through them under two hours once ya know what you're doing, and in 4-6h average even on a first time.
Oldschool survival horrors were made with replay value in mind though, so you may end up playing the same game for weeks. Hell, I still go back and marathon old SHs nearly annually.
this.
and also the park
Unironically Five Nights at Freddy's.
Especially the VR game if you have a headset

It's 5 minutes long, and free.

Silent Hill is great but I tried playing RE1 and honestly I was mostly bored.
sounds like you don't like puzzle-heavy adventure games,
also known as "survival horror".
You could obviously try the REmake too.
Lost in Vivo is a little one that I like. Give it a try.
P.T.
I enjoy the RE2 remake we had a couple months ago.
A plague tale is good.
Even got a Loli waifu.
yup, you REALLY hate classic survival horror, alright.
Enjoying one doesn't mean you must hate the other. I get you're doing that because you felt the urge to meme on it, but you're trying too hard.
Clock Tower (SNES)
>survival horror are puzzle heavy adventure games
what a terrible definition that does not accurately describe what is considered survival and horror.
By that definition Myst, monkey island, and leisure suit larry are all survival horror games.
no, I just REALLY despise the Demake 2 and the filthy secondaries it brought along
Classic 90's survival-horror games indeed were like adventure games, with tacked on action and gore.
This is why the kids who grew with simple, post-2005's zomby shooters hate them.
Riven can be pretty spoopy.
