theres literally no way you could run maxed MHW on a laptop

You can max anything on a laptop...as long as you have a fire extinguisher nearby and are plugged into a socket

I don't have an image that's smug enough for this

woah, the game actually comes out of the laptop screen???
how did i not know about this before??! where do i get this thing???

Everyone on Yea Forums lives with their parents and still has their big childhood rooms
If you live in a modern city apartment like a grown up then laptops are the way to go
Also makes lan parties way easier

Yup.

I live with my parents and have a smaller bedroom than I had as a child.
I have to have a laptop.

No, but my sister has

specs m8?

I do. The 17" version of that laptop, to be exact. I got it because I'm going to be traveling a lot in the coming months, and it's really nice to have.

What specs? I'm looking to travel too

I bought a prebuilt one back when the CRYPTO mine meme skyrocketed GPU prices. I waited and waited for the prices to drop and eventually gave up, said fuck it and bought a laptop instead. I just use it like a tower lol it's alright.

Bought a gtx 1050 one last year and I completely regret it after buying a Switch. Heavy, hot and uncomfortable in bed.

i hate tiny screen

Bought an Omen with a 1050ti 2+ years ago. It's starting to show it's age. Hope it can still play Cyberpunk

that's every laptop running anything other than a browser though

x86 was a mistake

Actually, I do. I traveled a lot for work last year, and wanted a laptop that wasn't the shitty company provided one, so I bought a used GTX660m laptop.

Hope you got it super cheap. 1050 was way outdated even back then

I should probably add that obviously have a dedicated gaming desktop, I just wanted something for work.

Only positive is that it hasn't burned down my apartment yet.

i7-8750H
RTX 2060
16GB RAM (single channel, but there is an empty slot)
250GB SSD
1TB HDD
60Hz screen
Cost me about $1200.

Should I go for it? desktop not an option

I have 2 gaming laptops :) Lenovo Idea Pad and HP Pavillion. Super happy with them for many years now. That said I don't play triple A trash and more gog classics and broodwar

I am using almost the same keyboard :D

>gaming laptop
>Sitting on a cooling fan pad
>Connected 100% of the time to my cheap 40inch 4K TV

How cancer am I?

>2060 is only €1000

Damn. Mines was a 1060 for that price 2 years ago. That seems decent enough. You'll need 16gb of ram though. Is there a 16gb option?

that s my gaming machine

>Is there a 16gb option?
No, though it says maximum support is 64GB so maybe there's a free slot

HP Pavilion 17-ab306ng
Noice.

not gaming related, but I only use a needle printer called ol'reliable

there you see my keyboard, a penny 9 euro keyboard

Using an Acer laptop with 1060 6GB, good enough for me.

I use an outdated Lenovo Y700 with an Nvidia GTX 960M (4GB), 16GB RAM, and an SSD for OS. I mostly emulate so it's sufficient and can still run things like DQ XI and Ni No Kuni 2 fine.

what is ITX form factor

I live in LA and I've never seen apartment, or hell, any living space, that didn't have enough space for a full ATX tower.

Why yes

I do.

My parents offered it to me when I graduated from highschool.
Unless you REALLY are the kind to move a lot, a full on desktop will be more practical.
