>best to skip to the sequel?
NO! Play it you fucking nerd, no matter what!
it's obligatory, especially if you want to touch the 2nd

The sequel doesn’t control much better so you might as well start with the first game

The negative parts of 1 like the horse riding were made much worse in 2 and the game overall just felt more sluggish. First one is more a"arcadey" ie responsive.

The first one is great, but it is a given that the graphics are outdated. Play story plus undead nightmare. the only thing you really missed is the fucking multiplayer which was really fun

Play Red Dead Revolver instead

>squeal

I loved 1, hundreds of hours. Couldn't put more than 10 into rdr2.

I hate the SOUL memes but it just felt souless. It could 100% get better later but I wasn't drawn in like the original did to me.

Why do people always bitch about RDR1’s controls?

There is no sequel.

>I hate the SOUL memes but it just felt souless.
It was probably because of how much 2 shat on john just to make arthur look good.

I first played it this year and liked it but can't see myself replaying it.

What is the entire epilogue?

It holds up better than GTA IV does it's really not all that different from 2

Hahaha. OP is a retard.

10 hours in 2 is a piss in the ocean the first one is half as long you didn't play long enough for any soul

Shit nigga just play GUN. That game was the tits. Only problem is that after the story you're fucked to find anything else to do.

No, you're just looking at John through rose-tinted glasses. His character was always that bad. Arthur is a more enjoyable protagonist by far.

Red Dead Revolver and Redemption are both leagues ahead of Redemption 2 simply because they don't have a lame ass core system. Also both of those games play much better and don't play like you're swimming in a vat of shit.
