No matter which way you look at it, Pokemon is unethical. You are making animals fight for your own entertainment. However, the conflicts and wirting in Digimon make way more sense. People who enjoy Pokemon tend to be a bit insipid, and I declare them as infidels.

Fix late stage Digivolutions so they aren't all just humans or cyborg dogs with pants. Fix Digivolution trees so they're more logical, rather than seemingly random most of the time. You should be able to see a clear progress as a Digimon.

The high points of digimon are great but every one of them accompanied by several failures and sometimes these failures are marketed as sequels to what used to be great games/shows so every time you buy a digimon product it is a gamble
Pokemon on the other hand has some variation in quality but you usually know what you'll get when buying pokemon products

Yeah, I always liked watching Digimon more as a kid, but it's always going to be seen as the knock-off. Pokemon established such a deep-rooted kiddie cult investment early on that it's forever going to win by default. One big new high quality title on Digimon's part isn't going to change that.

As much as I love Frontier, making an MMO based on Adventure 01 or Tamers would make more sense. Frontier is better suited to an action rpg or a fighting game.

I'll tell you exactly what went wrong and prevented this from being one of the best seasons of digimon.

1. Localization made a lot of really awkward filler dialogue early on making it seem really kiddy and cheesy.

2. The whole main cast was getting great development, then for some bizarre reason, half of them were relegated to sidelining cheerleaders with no relevance

3. Lore was solid but not enough exploration into it and the world.

4. Power levels were dumb inconsistent making it hard to feel tension or progression.

Basically whole thing had some rough patches that haters were eager to exaggerate so hardcore Digimon fans turned on it, and the normies weren't able to comprehend not having a partner so they bailed, plus without good games, the franchise was running out of steam.

She's an 11/10...If only she wasn't already pushing 30 and a koreaboo...
