Are any of you looking forward to luigi's mansion 3?
LM3
Yes. Next Level games actually listened to criticism from the fans. They said so on the stream. They added back portrait ghosts and removed the mission structure.
No, it looks like a puzzle game, not a Luigi's Mansion game
looks amazing, I don't own a switch but this game is the reason I'm getting one
BASED RETARD
Hell yeah, the game looks great
If they listened to fan feedback why didn't they change the art style back to the original game?
new artstyle is more expressive and has a lot more love poured into it
No.
yes.
you can deny it all you want, but 3 has the most soul in the series.
Only the first game has soul.
because only a handful of turbo autists like you give a fuck about that
the first game is basically a tech demo with a very small amount of soul.
LM3 oozes soul.
>muh resident evil for literal toddlers, I'm so scared of the dark mommy!!
user it isn't just basically a tech demo, it IS a tech demo. It was shown off at spaceworld 2000 and given slightly more content to get it to at least 2 hours of game.
Labels are meaningless.
No one is saying that the game is scary.
It's always been as stylized, only thing is maybe the grunge, which looks ugly, noisy textures are hideous.
Yes I can't wait for duplicate floors with duplicate rooms and duplicate portrait ghosts. Duplicate Luigi too. ITS JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL
I'm excited for it.
Not too sure about the Slam mechanic, seems a bit too... easy. Luigi should fail to slam if he can't complete a full turn-around, but iirc even if you do it with your back to a wall it just slides the models to acommodate. It does require about 2s of vacuuming before it's an option so if you fail to stun ghosts properly or there's just other shit going on I can see it being far less effective, but Slams essentially permanently stun ghosts hit with other ghosts until they're out of HP.
Luigi taking more damage is good(Took 20 off of a basic hit, but that -was- Scarescraper so I dunno) and if some enemies risk 30-40 and there's no health/armor-like upgrades I could see some enjoyment with the difficulty. But again, it's a Nintendo game... so I'm not expecting much on that front.
Portrait Ghosts returning makes me happy. Now they just need to avoid too-awful level layout since they're using the Hotel's main elevator to 'progress', meaning while there's no "level" format, there's still something that FEELS like it. Though LM1 did the same with returning to E. Gadd for portraitization, so it's just a matter of how it's done.
NOT impressed with the sound of the riches. Cash dollars, gold bars, pearls, they all sound 'weak' to collect and it's not satisfying at all.
Your life is meaningless.
I determine the meaning of my life. Not you.
They had me at "Scarescraper is back".
>LM3 oozes soul
its not even out yet you fucking dweeb, keep your pants on
