I don't see the point in pre-ordering a digital copy even if it's DRM free.
Only stuff I really see the need to pre-order are less-than-AAA Japanese shit cause that's the stuff where physical copies are actually a finite amount.
Or just in case there's a good chance for something like Amazon's lowest guaranteed price for a Nintendo title if just to save a few bucks here or there cause fuck if you'll ever see a good discount on some of that stuff in a year.
