No considering the excuse they gave was extremely transparent. Game freak are notoriously lazy and are a decade behind on production values. They are indefensible in their fuck ups no matter how small or large.

I gave up on them a long time ago. If I want to play a Pokemon game then it’ll be gen 5 or before.

I don't really care anymore.
Pokemon died with Gen 5 and everything after it is just more of the same shit with various degrees of Unova-introduced cancer.

The franchise is dead to me and I'm the type to have a living dex, ass loads of shinies, and a competitive version of nearly every evolutionary line.

Gotta catch 'all was just an anime tag line. Would it be realistic for one trainer to own all legendaries? Would the ~thirty legendaries not on your roster be satisfied sitting in a computer? Do you want to own a Mr. Mime?

I'm fine with it, there are too many fucking Pokemon nowadays. Let the new games focus on new Pokemon. The old ones can fuck right off.

I try to only use new mons on my playthroughs anyway so this doesn't effect me in the slightest. Hell, it's one of the many reasons B/W is my favorite.

I was planning in getting it because it looked decent and the last time I bought a Pokemon game was Black 2
But the limited dex thing reminded me I should vote with my wallet and not buy it because this kind of laziness shouldnt be endorsed.

There's no excuse to not let you bring in the old ones if you choose, it was a join to bring back your old favorites for the end game and battle frontier. But even though they're cutting shit you're still going to have all gen one pokemon shoved in your face. If they were totally rebooting the series from the ground up, starting from scratch with stats and models and animations it would make sense to have cuts. This isn't the case.

I don't have really any interest in pokemon so I didn't feel very strongly about it.
I feel like they should have seen this coming if they made a series for the extreme collector autists that make up pokemon fans, then decided to hinder that kind of collection autism.

Sad but expected it?
Now I have to face the fact that I will have to buy the next game regardless because I need my pokemon fix.
