For me, it's White Land

Great taste, port town is such an underrated F-Zero tune, I absolutely love the part from 0:20 onwards, its so good. I can't even explain why but it makes me feel things. I wish it got more remixes, the new smash only had a short segment in a medley for it sadly.
can't decide which is more comfy

the medley is GOAT though, based daytona man showed more love for the series than nintendo in the past 15 years
This song always got me.

Yeah its really fucking cool, wish it was longer, if not just the entire song.
Also is it just me or does the original theme sound a bit sorrowful? I have no clue about composition but its probably one of those background melodies that give it that feel.
>WELCOME TO THE FANTASY ZONE
>GET READY
Port town is my favorite one i cant get this one out of my head either
youtube.com
it definitely has a touch of moodiness to it
the opening bars are so sinister and tense and then the melody that comes in at 00:19 opens the track wide open, showing its tenderness
and then that wind up around 0:40 is all about the will to win the race, to march on and be the best, etc etc
it really runs a full gambit of emotion in such a short time, god damn F-Zero and X have such great OSTs
GX, albeit the better game, doesn't have nearly as many memorable tracks

just discovered this soundtrack
youtube.com
CHU-CHU-CHURU-CHU-CHU-CHUCHURU
Really nice way of putting it, I appreciate it. It really does sound like a lone hero forging his path in a racing-dystopia, as stupid as it sounds F-Zero really does kinda manage to sell it.
As much as I loved GX's gameplay I think I just want that setting and aesthetic revived in whatever form.

This shit is so fucking catchy
Is "arcade shmup" its own music genre? Because I want more of this. I've already checked out everything that comes up under this composers name and I want more

Godlike remix of Fire Field from Brawl
Yusuke Takahama's remixes in general are all really good. For Smash he also did:
>Tunnel Scene ( X )
>The two Vs Ridley remixes from Brawl/Ultimate
>3 Megaman remixes
>Galaga Medley
Nice
the actual OST for this game is incredible in its own right

second best on the Mega Drive after Shinobi III
youtube.com
reminds me of Nightshade on PS2 - terrible game, but still a great soundtrack
youtube.com
the original, Shinobi on PS2, seen here is a fantastic game with an even better OST

>remaster music
Not all of it is bad.

think I just really like cindi lauper
I don't know why it's been stuck in my head. I haven't been in his store in months, but it's pretty catchy.
devs: "We just need a little diddy for the title screen. Nothing fancy."
Tim Follin: "Say no more."

This tune is so addictive, I often just pause the game to let it loop a couple times
What makes Nightshade so bad compared to Shinobi?
Aight I see what you did there. That's actually already in my playlist
