I grew up with SNES, so you better believe I experienced the N64/PS1 era. It's perhaps the worst era ever in terms of people being blinded by nostalgia and includes probably more badly aged games than any other generation. It was only mindblowing for its time because of the transition to 3D, and because of that people tend to remember it being better than it actually was.
