Harder versions of bosses sometimes show up. Wizzroboe seemed to overlap phases more often, Gohmaracas had more health in the second phase, and Ganon had 4 health instead of 3 in each phase. They also start with 2 coffins on the map.

I'm not sure whether it's permadeath or daily challenge that adds the harder bosses. It also puts enemies in the dungeon lobbies.
Someone in a previous thread said they used co-op to beat Ganon with Yves and nothing happened.

How long is the game?

I'm reluctant to buying it for 25 bucks, looks a bit expensive for what it is but if I got as much mileage out of it as necrodancer then sure it's great.

I got the flippers by waking up the prince guy next to the dungeon by blowing up the ghosts with bombs. Also my choices from the dungeons were the boomerang, tower shield, war drum, and something else. They might be randomized.

Took me 11 hours, but that was with me 100%-ing it or at least as close as that as possible without getting the potential 5th character, exploring all the map, and hitting game over like 8 times before entering the first dungeon because I had trouble getting used to the mechanics.

i went through the entire map got all the chest, went down all the stairs, and went into all the shops. I went back after going through the portal to try to complete the map

im still missing a ton of stuff
-no flippers
-missing item between feather and drum
-only 13 deku seeds
-3 missing pieces of heart

I've been wanting some sort of new rhythm game to play, and this is honestly a cool game. Only picked this because of familiar characters, but I might give the original a try as well.

Daily challenge lets the dungeon unlock items be randomized. The Cadence caves still have the same items though.

People have reported as many as 22. You can easily get 21 on every playthrough.

This is why games like this bomb, people steal it via piracy and all the lost sales add up to a bomb.

It seems like the 21st might be only obtainable if you start as Zelda.

See post above for flippers. Missing item is Deku Leaf, I don't remember where I found it though. There's a bomb-able wall with 8 Deku Scrubs in the Lost Woods. Only suggestion I can give for the heart pieces is that I got some from buying with rupees at the shops in dungeons/crypts, you might need to check those.

No, I tried CotN and hated it, having to do everything timed to the music just wasn't fun at all for me.
