Brutal Legend. Especially the latter part.
The game of having kids
Duke Nukem Forever
spore
no mans sky
super mario world I have heard was rushed but is quite good
DS2 and DS3 damn what a waste of potential.
>rushed his own games
>gave this "gem" of advice after
>proceeded to spend 3-4 years making Wii Music
>announced Pikmin 3 when it wasn't even in development
>starts rushing games left and right because the Wii U was also a rush job that the market and technology wasn't there for just yet, and as such a complete failure
>is now "basically" retired and just a senior level guy playing Nintendos Walt Disney
He was never a god, and his advice came right around the time that patch culture was forming. Now this advice is worthless and irrelevant
Pokemon Sword/Shield
>A delayed game is eventually good
90% of the time this isn't true though, if a game is delayed that usually means either something seriously went fundamentally wrong with development, or something seriously went fundamentally wrong with budgeting
Not really.
Ocarina of Time.
Dude, the next F-Zero game is going to be so fucking amazing!
The Elder Scrolls VI
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines.
Conversely:
Team Fortress 2
Brutal Legend sucks in it's entirety.
this
pokemon sword and shield
star fox zero
The game isn't out yet though?
What seems to be so bad about it?
The Graphics seem kinda meh, but Pokémon never had stellar graphics or anything.
Fallout: 76
Skyrim
Dungeon Keeper II
I've seen this image so much in the last couple of days, it will now be forever associated with Pokemon Shaft & Shite
Half Life 3, it'll never be bad if it never comes out.
most profitable franchise in the whole fucking world and this is their first real mainline game on a console.
The fact that roughly 40% of all the currently known pokemon wont be in it (I mean in terms of Data, if Forretress was your favourite pokemon and it isnt part of the regional pokedex, you will never be able to play with this pokemon in this game, period)
I mean the latter is pissing of everyone except normalfags who dont know anything aswell as corporate bootlickers. the relevant hashtag got trending now like 3 times, 5 if we include the japanese one aswell.
Chances are its due to bad coding. After all, the Dynomax model doesnt seem to be an upscaled base model, they seem to be their own one which means each pokemon has 2 files in it. And considering they copy-paste ressources instead of referencing them (a.k.a. wasting dataspace), they have one model for each pokemone aswell exclusive to their Wild Area location.
NO
MANS
SKY
Hopefully Metroid Prime 4 is going to be the ultimate example of this.
Bloodborne was also delayed a year and was GOTYAY.
That's not true though.
I mean it used to be. But now the internet and patches exist.
I find delayed games usually turn out to be worse than ones that reach their dates safely. There usually turns out to be some developmental issue happening in the background.
I’m surprised nintendo didn’t open up e3 with this quote
Duke Nukem Forever
>treehouse started with Pokemon
if they opened with this quote, they wouldnt see the end of it
>if a game is delayed that usually means either something seriously went fundamentally wrong with development, or something seriously went fundamentally wrong with budgeting
How does that contradict or even have anything to do with what he said?
I dont get it
>wow game freak is so fucking lazy wow they just upscaled the pokemon model thats their gimmick this gen fuck them
>oh they didn't just upscale the model its actually completely different and new and not lazy well now I wish they upscaled the model!!!!
Wait fucking what?
40% of the Pokémon aren't going to be coded into the game? So older Pokémon i have can't be transfered up to that game? Holy shit. That's bad. That's really bad. What the fuck, i genuinely didn't know this. This instantly killed my hype for this game. And what do you mean the Dynamax Pokémon have their own models? Why wouldnt they just upscale the models of the Pokémon? Making seperate models for HUEG Pokémon would be beyond retarded.
OoT was unfinished though.
You're missing the point. Dynamaxing is a boring mechanic that obviously didn't take much imagination to come up with. The way they've done the dynamaxing (having models for each size of pokemon instead of just making it bigger) is completely incompetent. People are getting mad at both their incompetency as well as lack of imagination when it comes to introducing new mechanics.
And it's forever bad
Metroid Prime 4
