Play jump_tissue. It's hands down one of the absolute best Demo jump maps, that shit will teach you everything, including airpogos, and the difficult curve is near perfect. I remember being so excited for clearing this one jump after several hours of attempts, nowadays I can clear the whole map in probably an hour or less.

I wouldn't recommend jumping straight into the hard stuff, no. But like I said, jump_tissue has a very clean difficulty curve. You definitely don't need to be a master at anything going into it; when I first went through it, I could hardly even ground pogo, but the map taught me how to, and I beat it after hours of trying.

If you mean GMod animation, more or less, save for a few animators. If you mean SFM, not in the slightest.

Oh absolutely it's possible. It's just not always necessary, keep that in mind. If there's a jump where you have to groundpogo across a large area, then you'd probably want to go faster so you don't take all day, but if it's something more inclosed, like a maze, there's nothing wrong with taking it slow.
