Release an unfinished beta
its pretty fun dude. Cemu version is excellent
is BoW really that bad?
it sure looked bland and soulless to me, but I haven't played Zelda since the big letdown of TP
Nah it's fine. It has a lot of padding with the open spaces but if you added up only the interesting content it's still worth the 60 bucks.
The more focused story content is decent, the shrines and open world is dog shit, there's cute little puzzles to do that a blind baby could figure out like "hey, there's 3 slots here, and 2 of them have apples, I wonder what happens if I put an apple in the empty slot" but what really fucks me off is that every character is constantly referencing how empty and dead the world is "BUT BOY LINK 100 YEARS AGO SHIT WAS POPPIN THERE WAS STUFF TO DO EVERYWHERE ITS A REAL SHAME THE WORLD'S SO EMPTY AND GAY BECAUSE OF THEY SET THIS GAME WE ARE IN The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Wiiu and Switch 100 YEARS BACK WHEN THE ACTUAL EVENTS WERE UNFOLDING HOOOO BOY YOU'D HAVE A GOOD GAME WITH LOTS TO DO" it's a decent game but the wave of perfect 10s and hundreds is pretty insulting, considering twilight princess is a better game and it's one of my least favorite Zelda titles
botw is fantastic, some of the best world design of any open world game and imo the best gameplay of any open world game. Story is shallow even by zelda standards though, so if you're expecting a deep narrative and world building you'll be disappointed.
The original was hampered by the Wii U.
Will this one be twice as good?
The lack of enemy variety is absolutely fucking awful. I like it but it's EXTREMELY overrated. Obnoxiously so.
It's a legitimate IQ test. Brainlets can't remember anything in the game because of the lack of set piece moments.
the dark souls people did it three times so what did you expect
Pathetic consolewar faggot.
Oops wrong image
Whoops I did it again
tell that to OP
>saying a game is bad counts as consolewar
Fuck off and die.
It had some flaws and it not what it could have been, but it's very good nonetheless.
It was the first Zelda I played after TP, as I found TP to be painfully underwhelming and uninspired, but I enjoyed my entire playthrough of BotW and look forward to the sequel.
Literally Honeymoon phase: The game. It a 10/10 the first 30%. Then you start realizing shit. The map is really inflated to seem bigger, the shrines are basically all there is to do and they are quite similar. There aren't really more than 5 types og enemies. There isn't really any proper dungeons, least of all on the scale they had the potential for now. The game is amazing until you realize how lacking it really is.
you and I both know that's not what the OP is saying
I have over 100 hours in it and I still feel that it's a solid 9/10
What's OP got against Link's Awakening?
>The game is amazing until it’s not
I mean, that's still better than 90% of AAA games these days that never make it to that “amazing” point at all.
Dont get me wrong, I love the game, but I can't with a straight face say it deserves 10 or even 9.
Its better than shit waker thats for sure. Oh you wanna sail somehere? Here is a big ass octopus that will shoot you to the other side of the map :). Oh btw there is shit everywhere that will knock you off your boat. Oh cool a sea monster! How will i fight this?
>lol just throw a boomerang at it like 15 times but watch out lol you might get anal vored and launched half way across the world.
It's a very good game. One of the best Open-World games ever made, the best zelda? Probably not, but nonetheless quite good and soulful.
different strokes for different folks
I prefer TP and ALBW but I still enjoyed my time with BOTW. It's hard to say if it's better on the first go around when you see everything for the first time, or on your second run when you know more about how to do certain events and where things are, but I'm leaning towards the latter
I really loved it, my only qualms with it were nitpicks and slight changes to the enemy scaling / boss scaling would have made it better
The sequel expanding on the tighter designed stuff like dungeons and whatnot could really elevate it further. I think the sequel has the chance to be the best open world game and the best zelda game, but we'll see
