It's missing some music if I remember, but that can be modded back in. My main gripe with the PC port is the aiming is broken. Instead of bullets traveling to the dot of the crosshair, they travel to the top left of the crosshair circle instead. Really irritating, and makes gunfights harder than they should be.

Yeah, but nowadays you can mod all 3D era GTAs to match the PS2 versions.

To hop on this guy's question, is it better to mod the PC versions or just emulate? I already own both pc and ps2 copies, but console is rip. Phenom x2 and 270x btw.

Try modding the pc version, it's piss easy and it adds in controller support, and the missing effects/weapons/gangs that the ps2 original had

Get the Vice City 1.0 exe if you don't have it
Silentpatch fixes a handful of things
GInput if you want to use a controller
Widescreen Fix to fix the stretched HUD
SkyGFX for better graphics
Sharptrails if you don't like the trail blur
and I forgot to add this last time but look for the original FLASH.adf to get Running with the Night
