You don't need to own the DLC to RE2 Remake to install replacement outfits. The outfits will appear in the selection menu after you just install them because apparently the DLC has no DRM.

It probably looks shit because it's 4K, I don't think the game is very well optimised for it, especially some of the lighting. They don't look so bad when they are in motion and pretty much look like vanilla files when at 1080p.

REmake 2 just launched a few months back, there's no way they would be ready to show something this early. We'll maybe get a teaser next E3 at absolute earliest.

The RE7 team has been working on RE8 since 2017 (or at the latest the start of 2018, if they all worked on that DLC). It's not unreasonable to expect they might have had something to show

Hardcore isn't even hard. You need ink ribbons and you'll die in 2 or 3 hits. It's downright easy outside of a few areas once you realize the optimal way to deal with zombies is just to shoot them in the leg until they're forced to crawl.

No, there's no increased frustration, unless you're a shitter who equates challenge to frustration. You get fewer resources and enemies deal more damage, and your attacks don't stagger them that easily. The only way I think you might end up increasing your frustration is if you get paranoid about the limited save system, then you conserve your save items too much and end up losing progress after a death because you were too stingy.

Capcom could bypass half the work by starting with the existing spider models in REmake and Zero.
