I did that with Persona 3’s The Answer. Mostly because I didn’t want to spend another set of hours and I heard it’s very grindy.

and it doesn't have a "Game movie" because the narrative is heavily influenced by the player's choices and the player's own beliefs.
Writing story in a game as though it were a linear experience is for amateur hacks.
Soul Reaver 2, which is a shame because Blood Omen and Soul Reaver are fun games, but Soul Reaver 2 is a bunch of hallways connected by cutscenes.
After I beat Metal Gear Rising I've watched the cutscenes a bunch over and over on youtube

I watched every cutscene for the new God of War. I have a PS4 and I could have played it but I didn't. It was okay had some cool moments, I'll probably do the same when the sequel comes out. Once in awhile I'll go back and watch all the cutscenes for all the Metal Gear games but I actually enjoy playing those.
