They are all good if you can stand the touch controls. Since DQ is a turn based and slow game I think it works well.
DQIV mobile is also the best version you can get in the west because it added party chat back in which was removed in the western release for DS for some reason

I haven't been playing on my phone for a time, since I've been playing Sauerbraten as my go to relax game recently, as well as trying other FOSS Arena Shooters.

Even so, I did recently purchase Card City Night and Samurai II: Vengance, and Siralim 3. Of the three I've only play CCN for a reasonable amount of time, and it's pretty cozy/comforting. I've heard a lot of good things about Siralim 3, so I am looking forward to trying that out.

Bleach Brave Souls is the only one I can tolerate since it's pretty f2p friendly since you can't pay to win really anything in it and no ads.

There was a time when I would draw out my phone, but by the time I opted to touch anything, I was done and was busy cleaning up. In addition, I immediately felt the need to clean my phone with a disinfectant wipe just for safe measure. Since then I kept my phone away from the bathroom.

I used to play nethack on my phone but its too annoying. A friend of mine recommended buriedborne or something, but I looked at it and it was way too complex for me to care at the time. That's the sum total of my phone gaming in the last four years.

There's even a damage optimization autism requiring you to time the stacked timeslow just right alongside the right position for maxed damage with delayed attacks
