You can hack the console. If you want to play the switch releases on a hacked console you might as well call yourself a leech, I'd pay for the games of the switch rather than see the switch fail. The option is there to hack it if you're looking for games outside what the switch offers. The only issue i have with the hacked switch is how you lose all access to the Nintendo services, it would be neat to have them both

It is possible to go back if you have a hacked switch, but thats tedious as heck plus you keep all the games you already had. if new releases you might be interested in, then hacking the switch will be extra hassle to go back if you want that one game. Cant have both at the same time

It's usually better to wait until the console's lifespan is finished before hacking. The Vita and 3DS are very easy to hack now that they're no longer officially supported.

Only speaking from experience. The Wii U, Vita, PSTV and 3DS hacks are effectively final implementations. Of course the scene will always have their improvements, but for just an average user it's safer and more cost-effective.

They released a new revision of the switch that patched the exploit. Everyone who bought their switch early will be able to pirate until the switch is at end of life. Playing online with legit games is also possible if you have emunand
